it was a saturday night when woojin received a call.
"woojin, y/n's going through something. come over please?" was all your roommate had to say through the phone before he rushed to your house.
at this point the both of you have been going out every sunday morning for more than a month, yet the status of your relationship was still unknown. heck, y'all haven't even kissed. he's tried, many times. but every single try was avoided. it frustrated him to no end. however, he was willing to wait, seeing as you were not ready.
the first thing he saw when he entered through the front door, which he remembered your roommate mentioning was unlocked, was you pacing back and forth the living room with your roommate sitting on the couch, trying to pay attention to your incoherent rambling. in your hand was a bottle of wine, in which you took swigs of in between sentences. your roommate's face lit up at the sight of him and gestured towards you, signalling that it was his time to deal with you, before leaving to her room.
"hey! i'm not done you fu- oh, woojin..." you slurred, your eyes widening at the boy approaching you. he reached for the bottle in your hand to remove it. you stared up at him, confused about his presence in your house.
"she called me. are you okay?" he explained, you shook your head slowly, scratching the back of your neck. as much as you were drunk, you still felt embarrassed that he saw you in such a state.
"am i ever okay though?" you muttered under your breath. sensing how upset you were, he pulled you in for a hug. you were taken aback by the gesture and wanted to pull away, but woojin shushed you until you relaxed into his embrace.
"i was stressed over feelings because they're so fucking annoying so i decided to have some wine but it didn't seem to calm me down and it's just making me even more frustrated and i hate it," you rambled into his chest, not caring about the fact you just admitted about the confusion over your feelings for him. you could feel the vibrations in his chest as he laughed in amusement over your words. as much as you were agitated, he found you extremely adorable, with your cheeks all flushed, evidence of the alcohol in your system.
the both of you start swaying to the rhythm of a nonexistent tune. you looked up to see him staring intently at you, slowly leaning in.
"follow me," you instructed him as you pulled away from his arms, interrupting his actions once again. he sighed out of frustration, letting you drag him up the stairs to your room. his frustration turned into confusion, and he resisted your pull. you looked back, pulling on his hand, a devilish grin on your face. "you scared?"
he coughed before shaking his head, allowing you to pull him up the stairs towards your room. after entering your room, you let go of his hand, jumping onto your bed. you held your arms out towards a very awkward woojin, standing at your door.
"cuddle?"
he cracked a big smile and laughed at your antics before approaching your bed.

the two of you laid under the covers, enjoying each other's company before you decided to speak up.
"my dad cheated." he jumped at your sudden confession. "he cheated on my mom when i was 15." he nodded, a gesture for you to continue and he pulled you closer to his chest. "i always admired my parents' relationship. they were kinda what i wanted in a relationship. i gave my dad a lot of credit because my mom's a difficult person to put up with y'know? never admits her wrongdoings, short-tempered. difficult. unfortunately, he gave up putting up with her? they had a really bad fight and he stormed out. he didn't return that night. the next morning, my mom called my dad to ask about his whereabouts but a woman answered it. he was in the shower at that time i think. he didn't even know about the call until he came home. my mom kicked him out for good. eventually, they got a divorce a year later. from there, my idea of a perfect relationship just vanished."
your breath started to get shaky as you prepared your next story. you took a deep inhale before continuing.
(a/n ok sO, protagonist's parents are originally from korea, they moved to australia, had said protagonist and felix. the house was her parents' previous house before moving to korea. it doesn't make sense and it sounds super cliché but y'know what? this story's already written there's no turning back even though i have regrets oops. also i really wanna finish this story because 2019 is the year where i finish what i started even if i don't want to hnggg. hope you enjoyed this! also the story from now on would be in the past i think)
