After leaving the crime scene, Gordon asked if I could come to the morgue with him so he could have help consoling the girls parents.
I, of course said yes.
- IN THE MORGUE -
As the doctors wrote the information for the girl, I hugged and tried to calm the girls mother.
"Sh-she...was....only...seventeen." With that sentence said her mother broke down. Laying her head on her daughter crying,begging her to come back.
I watched with sympathy. I couldn't imagine what she's going through.
Gordon was talking to the girls father. I could hear him blaming himself for this. Saying it was his fault that they should have stayed home last night.
Gordon shook his head disagreeing.
"No sir, it wasn't your fault and we will do our best to find the monster who did this."
I couldn't take this and soon I was crying too.
Gordon got tissues for everybody. I don't see how he could deal with it, cause I can't.
