It was really quiet. And I was really comfortable, wherever I was. I forced my eyes open and came to face an unfamiliar but oddly serene surrounding. The room was filled with comfortable and plush grey furniture and blue walls. The window curtains were pushed aside for sunlight to seep in and lit up the room.

Now the million dollar question was, where the hell was I?

I got up to a sitting pushing and immediately regretted moving. A painful headache began and made my head throb. I tried to think about what could have possibly happened to lead me here. Just then, the door opened and I was met by a pair of strangely familiar grey eyes. Where had I seen him before.

"Good. You're awake." Grey eyes said to me.

"Uh.. do I know you?"

Grey eyes sighed.

"I didn't expect you to remember. You were at a party last night here and-"

I cut him off right there and then.

"Oh God.." I groaned, "Please tell me I didn't do something stupid enough to get me killed by my Dad."

"You didn't."

"Really?" I felt a surge of hope at his response.

"But someone else did. You were drugged." Grey eyes stated calmly while my heart stopped beating.

"What?" I choked out the words. I couldn't believe it. Who could've -
And I looked back at grey eyes.

"Did you do it?!" I shrieked.

"What? No, I was the one who saved your ass from that douchebag Jake Ellington!" He exclaimed.

"Jake? He did it? Oh my God, oh God why? He didn't take a-advantage-"

"No he didn't. Calm down. I got there before anything could happen."

"But Jake, how could he? I-I don't understand..." I whispered to myself.

"I can't deal with this. Nick! Please come inside!"

Immediately, a person came inside and when I got a better look at him, oh my. He looked Asian with his dark eyes and hair but his strong jaw line and straight nose made him look no less than a Greek God.

He approached near the bed where I sat hyperventilating.

"Calm down uh.." he looked expectedly at me.

"Oh my name, I'm sorry I didn't say it before. It's Alex."

"Okay Alex. Just breath in and out. Take a deep breath in from your nose and release through your mouth."

I followed what he said and after ten minutes or so, I felt myself feeling composed.

"Just tell me one thing."

"Okay." He politely spoke.

"Jake didn't get to do something to me right?" I nearly cried when I ended the sentence.

"No. He didn't. Ace over there", he turned to look at Grey eyes, "saw him slip something in your drink so he kept an eye on you. After you began to feel dizzy, he got there and made Jake get the hell out of the party right away. He brought you to this room since you were passed out and he didn't know if you came with anyone."

I think I let a few tears slip. It turned to Grey eyes or Ace.

"Thank you." I breathed out.

"Don't mention it." He shrugged.

"We should get you home. Your parents must be worried."

"Oh God my Dad!" I was about to go all panic mode again when I realised I told him I'd be staying with Vera.
