Liz turned over and sat up slowly. She looked around to see Otis curled up in a ball snoring. Liz looked at her phone and saw that it was 6:30, great, she was up early the one day she could sleep in. Otis didn't have to get up for another hour so Liz climbed out of bed slowly and walked into the bathroombathroom, she fixed her hair, did her makeup, and threw up. Once she had cleaned up she walked into the living room and turned on the tv. She walked into the kitchen and started making breakfast while she watched the news. She sighed as she saw all the crime and corruption the city was going through. She sat on the couch and put her feet up, and flipped through the channels. She waited till Otis stumbled in and saw his breakfast sitting on the counter.

"Hey baby why you up? " Otis said scratching his head

"I don't know....i just woke up"

"Are you feeling ok" Otis asked laughing

"Yeah.... I'm fine....can I come to work with you today"

"Yeah of course....you and mouch can just chill on the couch"

"Thanks I just can't stand being around this house alone.....because if I am I think about being sick because thats really the only this I can think about and then bam! Im throwing up all over the place"

Otis laughed and took a sip of his coffee.

"Alright let's head out"

Liz got off the couch, turned off the tv and grabbed her jacket. They headed down the stairs and Otis drove over to the firehouse. As they where walking in they saw Kelly and stella.

"Hey guys! "Liz said walking over and giving them both a hug

" Hey what you doing here"

"I didn't wanna be left alone"

"Hows this little guy.... "

"Girl" Stella says elbowing him

"Doing"

Liz and Otis laughed.

"This little guy or girl is doing great! "

They all walked into the kitchen to see mouch in his usual spot and Herman cussing about something in the kitchen.

"Where are the knives!! "

"Second drawer to the left" Liz said slamming her hands down on the counter.

"God I hate when you do that! " Hermann said looking up quickly at Liz

"Sorry I couldn't resist"

"Yeah yeah..... How's this little guy"

"Or girl! " Mouch called from the couch.

"Ok I'm tired of this i say we place a bet! "

"Your gonna bet over my child" Liz said raising an eyebrow

"Why not! It's just a friendly bet! "

"Yeah yeah.... But you cannot ask Otis where you should place your bet is that clear! "

"Yes ma'am.... Alright it's official.... I'm getting the list" Hermann said pulling out a piece of paper and making columns that said ' boy or girl's and '$$$$'.

Everyone started arriving and Hermann made his announcement.

"Alright everybody listen up! Here is the sheet.... Place your bet if you think Liz and otis's kid is gonna be a boy or a girl"
