William was thrown against the wall, and his bones and teeth clattered together. He shot up and looked around, but the creature had disappeared into the dark rafters. He closed his eyes and listened, just in time to hear a low whistling coming toward him. In one quick motion, he pulled the Magnum out of its holster, thumbed the hammer, and shot the ungodly thing between its bright eyes with a silver bullet. As the wolf who was not really a wolf turned back into a man, William panted for breath. He was covered in blood, and had a scratch or two, but those wouldn't infect him. The curse upon him prevented aging, supernatural infection, and most spells from affecting him.

The man lying on the floor was Jose Hernandez. He had been a normal man, who lived a normal life, except when the moon was full. He had killed seven people in the last seven days, not to mention cattle and other livestock, and William put a stop to him, like he always did. William touched the eye shaped amulet around his neck and opened a portal. He chanted a short incantation and the body, along with all of the blood, was sucked in, leaving the crime scene clean.

William shook his head and began to stagger back out onto the dirt roads of the small Mexican village. The villagers had caught wind of what was happening, and all of them were gathered outside of the small building. When they saw only William walked out, they clapped and cheered, knowing that their village was now safe from the supernatural menace.

William collected his pay, which was small due to the poverty of the village, and he had not asked for much. He stepped out of the village's border and was going to ask Elle for a pick-up, when he heard someone call his name.

"Senor Guillermo!"

He turned around. A skinny boy of about 10 was running toward him.

"I wish to show you something. Un Miracolo!"

"What is it kid?"

The child grinned at William and then looked around the path they were standing on. He picked up a large rock from the side of the path, held it for a moment, and then it simply...melted, stinking and sulfurous, like a shard of superheated glass.

"Two questions, kid. What's your name, and how'd you learn English?"

"My name is Tomas, and I learned from the missionaries. I have heard that you are recruiting for a teenage team. I wish to join."

"Is your family alright with you leaving?"

"They abandoned me when they discovered my gift. I have no one. Please."

"Ok kid, let's go. Elle, come pick me up. I have a new recruit."

Suddenly, a light burst through the sky, and a massive black jet was hovering above the village. It landed silently and the door to the cargo bay, and the two heroes entered.

After dropping off Tomas, William walked into the mission control room and looked for any supernatural happenings. Since William had joined The Nomads, he had advertised his monster extermination services, and had been getting calls ever since. On the enormous screen dedicated to monsters and demons were at least twenty new alerts.

William picked one in Massachusetts, and it looked like it was a demonic possession. He sighed and went to his room in the base and gathered some exorcism supplies. He shoved them into a duffel bag and went to hit the road.

"Hey, Will! Wait up!"

William turned around, and saw Roy jogging toward him.

"Hey Roy. What do you need?"

"Well, Elle told me you were going on a hunt, and I need something to do, so do you think I could join you?"

"Well I do my best hunting alone, but I guess you can come. We're going to Boston for an exorcism."
