Chapter Seven

|Couple Hours Later|
|Benny And Baron|

Benny's Pov:

I stood at the kitchen counter chopping up some cucumber for a salad I was making for dinner. But my mind wasn't on the food. I kept thinking about Miley and Gabby's fight earlier and I couldn't shake the feeling that Gabby would take revenge out on someone in our group.

Baron walked in and headed to the fridge. "Smells good babe," he said sniffing the air. "It's taco casserole. Mom made one for her and Shawn so she made one for us as well. It'll be ready in twenty minutes," I said and laid down my knife. "Baron I can't shake this feeling that Gabby is gonna take her revenge out on someone in our group and I'm thinking she's gonna target Roman."

"Hmm you could be right about that," Baron said grabbing a Coke from the fridge, "but I'm thinking Roman won't be the only one she'll target. Think a minute. She'll go after Shawn since he and Miley are extremely close......and it pains me to even say this......and she could come after you as well."

I picked up the knife again and grabbed a tomato. As I chopped it up I thought about what Baron had just said. He was right of course; Roman was just the tip of the iceberg. She'd probably try to pick me and Shawn off first before getting Roman. I so didn't want that to happen. Not to my future brother inlaw.

"Benny I can tell you're worried but don't be. I'll protect you," Baron said and I looked up at him with a smile. "I know you will babe but Miley's my sister. I just don't want anything happening to her or anyone in our family including Roman," I said finishing the salad.

Something dawned on me then. "Oh God I forgot RJ! If he were to get hurt by Gabby Miley would murder her!" I said as I pulled the casserole from the oven. "I know baby I had that same thought," Baron said sitting at the table.

I dished up our dinner and set his plate in front of him then sat down with mine. I picked up my fork but didn't start eating. My mind was racing and food was the furtherest thing from my mind. "I think a pow wow is in order. You Dean and Roman as a group and me Miley and Roxy as a group. We need to think of plans to keep Gabby from hurting any of us!" I said then started to eat.

Baron's Pov:

I took a bite of my dinner and thought about what Benny had just said. She was right of course. But it seemed that whenever we came up with a plan Gabby was always one step ahead of us. How she did it was a mystery. One we desperately needed to solve.

My phone started to ring and I grabbed it. "Shit it's Roman," I said and hit speaker. "Hey bro what's up?" I asked as soon as Roman came on. "We've got trouble again. I think Gabby's really gone off the deep end," Roman said and his voice was tight like he was holding back anger. "What did she do now?" Benny asked. "Video call me and I'll show you," Roman said.

Benny and I exchanged a look then I video called Roman. As soon as he came on screen I could hear Miley crying hysterically in the background. I could also see that she was holding RJ tight against her chest. "Brace yourselves guys because what you're about to see will turn your stomachs," Roman said. "Okay Ro," Benny said and then Roman aimed the camera at an open box sitting on the floor. In it was a decapitated tan colored baby doll.

"T-there was a note," Miley said gulping back sobs, "and in it Gabby threatened to hurt RJ!!!" Roman grabbed the note and read it to us, "'I'd watch RJ like a hawk if I were you...... wouldn't want him to suddenly get badly hurt or worse!'" "Omg she's gone off the deep end," Benny said. "Why hurt an innocent baby?!" "Because he's close to me. Gabby knows it would kill me if anything happened to RJ or Roman," Miley said.

I shook my head. "Maybe you should get a restraining order against Gabby. That would buy some time for us to think of a plan," I said. Roman sighed. "We've thought of that but we all go to the same college and there's no way that they can keep Gabby out of the classes we have together," he said. "They could make her have her classes at night," Benny said.

"True," Miley said and Roman agreed. "We'll talk to the police tomorrow. Good idea Baron," he said. I smiled. "No prob bro," I said then we all said goodbye and I hung up. "Wow this shit with Gabby is really getting out of hand," Benny said as we finished dinner. "Sure is. I just hope she stops before she does something unforgivable," I said.

"I can only imagine what's making Gabby act this way," Benny said as we gathered our dishes and placed them in the dishwasher. "I think it's jealousy," I said, "she's jealous of you Miley and Roxy. You three have guys who love you girls the way she wishes she was." Benny shook her head. "You're probably right about that. If she didn't act the way she does Gabby would have a guy too," she said.

"I just want all of this to stop," Benny said. "I do too baby," I said. "Let's go to bed we have class tomorrow." We walked upstairs and went to bed.
