Back to basics

The past couple of months have been hell for Adrian & I . Eveyone comes over and helps whenever they can but it's still too much . Was I sorry for pushing Ray away ? Hell no . It had not been 8 months and a half since Adrian was welcomed into this world and his features are really coming in and he's starting to look more and more like his daddy which just makes me up set . All I see is a little Rayan .

Speaking of  Rayan. I haven't heard for him since the encounter that we both had . Him and that Raven girl are finally together and rumor is that they are engaged . Lucky them , right ? Me on the other hand, I'm still the single mother but I don't need anyone . All I am focus on is my son and my job . Even though Adrian was a pain in the ass sometimes, he was still my little baby and my little soldier . Back to Raven now , she had a baby girl with Rayan but he managed to stay with her through the 9 moths though . How surprising . I planned on never seeing his ass again when it all went wrong one day .

I was strolling with Adrian through the mall to buy him some new clothes and shoes since he was growing . I was pushing Adrian around in footlocker when I saw these fresh white baby nikes and as I reached for it , so did another hand . Oh God ..

"Ummm sorry lady, you can have them wait .. Lyric ?"-Ray asked 

"Oh wow . Well isn't this just great ?"-I rolled my eyes and took the Nike shoes and pushed Adrian away 

"Wait wait hold up"-Ray said walking faster to catch up with me

"What nigga"-I asked 

"How you been ?"-Ray smiled , I gave him a straight face 

"Listen if you just wanna conversate then go somewhere else okay . Me and Adrian need to go"-I said 

"Momma"-Adrian babbled and clapped his hand 

"Yes baby let's go"-I said and strolled us to the queue . Ray still followed 

"If you're mad at me can we talk it out ? I really need to see my baby boy"-Ray said looking at Adrian . I ignored him 

"Come on now Lyric"-Ray lowered his voice 

"NEXT !"-The cashier said and I walked to her still ignoring Ray 

"Cute son you go there haha"-The woman said 

"Awh, thank you"-I cheesed 

"No problem & that will be $30.50"-The woman said 

"Here you go"-I handed the woman the money and grabbed the bag 

"Thanks and have a nice day"-She waved

"You too"-I waved back and walked out of the store , Ray STILL following me 

"Would you just quit !"-I shouted causing a few stares 

"No ! I need to see my son too . You can't just take him away from me like that ."-Ray said 

"Oh but for 8 and a half months I have"-I smirked and walked out to my car that I had recently got 

"Ughh!"-Ray groaned 

"Look, its clear that you just wanted to use me . I am over it but I will never forgive you . You should be with your fiancé right now"-I rolled my eyes 

"How did you know about that ?"-Ray asked 

"I heard"-I said putting Adrian in his car seat as he just stared at Ray which made me rolled my eyes

"Oh"-Ray said 

"I honestly do not know why you wasting your time with me and Adrian . The answer is always gonna be no so now you can go and start your new life with your daughter and fiancé"-I rolled my eyes and put Adrian's buggie in the back of the car
