Poetic Lyric. (Mindless Behavior Love Story)

Baby Boy

So it had now been 9 months and this baby was ready to pop out any moment now and I was excited but then in pain at the same time . My due date was almost here so for the past week , I made sure that Keisha would stay with me so she could take me to the hospital when my water broke . I was soo excited .

I woke up screaming at night when Keisha burst in through my door .

"Whats wrong now Lyric ?"-Keisha asked 

"My water ... It broke"-I whined 

"Okay wait let me get your things "-Keisha said 

Keisha grabbed a my duffel bag and stuffed some clothes in there for me and the baby . Tears started to fall as I held onto my stomach because the pain was excruciating . Keisha helped changed my pj bottoms as they were wet and then we made our way to the hospital . As soon as we got there , they rushed me onto a bed and got me into a room as quickly as possible .

Hours and hours had passed but still the docs said that I wasn't fully dialated . They gave me the epidural to ease the pain but I could still feel it . Keisha would grab my hand and tell me encouraging words to help me take my mind off of the pain and it worked . She tried to make me laugh which worked but then would cause small sharp pains in my abdomen . The pains soon became more and more sharper causing me to cry . The pains became unbareable thats when Keisha called in the doctors 

"Hmmm okay miss Lyric you are fully dialated "-The doc said 

"Lets have a baby"-Keisha clapped 

Tears formed in my eyes from both sadness and joy . Sadness because the baby's father wouldn't be here and joyful because of the fact that I was about to have my first born . The nurse lifted up my legs and potitioned them . I saw the doc get some tools ready then I glanced over to the side to see the other nurse taking the blue blanket out for the baby .

"It's just simple breath excersices Lyric just count down from 10 and push as hard as you can"-The doc said and I nodded

The doc counted down from ten and I pushed as hard I could . I didn't even realize that Keisha had been recording the whole time .

"I see the head ! I see the head !"-Keisha squealed 

"Great ! Do it again "-The doc said 

And I repeated the process but pushed a little harder . Soon after , I heard little groans whiched turned into loud sobs . I opened my eyes and I saw that my son was now here , tears formed my eyes as the doc cut the cord for me and the nurse cleaned him up and handed him over to me .

"HE'S BORN YALL LOOK AT HIM HE'S BORN !"-Keisha said putting the camera all up in teh baby's face 

"Damn Keisha "-I breathed 

"Well damn sorry . But look at him . Isn't he soo adorable ?"-Keisha laughed and looked at the camera

"Wow he's finally here"-I whispered in disbelief 

"What are you going to name this little young one ?"-The doc asked

"Adrian"-I smiled weakly at the doc 

"Nice name "-The doc cleaned up his tools 

"Okay the battery is about to die so let's say bye little Adrian"-Keisha put the camera on all of us 3 and we waved bye to the camera before it died 

"Well stop hogging him , I wanna hold him too"-Keisha said washing her hands 

"Fine"-I smiled and handed Adrian over to Keisha and her face suddenly lit up
