6 Weeks Later
Damien
I sat in my living room waiting for her to knock on the door. We had been meeting up for a few weeks now and I still got excited.
I heard a knock at the door and jumped up to open it. There she was. That beautiful skin. That beautiful smile. "Hey beautiful," I said moving out of the way to allow her in.
She sat the take out down on the table. "Well you look chipper today," she said. I smiled.
"Val you know Tuesday's and Thursday's are my favorite. I get to see you."
She smiled. "You're so crazy. I never thought I'd look up and see us being friends or even talking again. I'm glad we are though. Nobody should just have to be alone," she said.
She sat down beside me and fixed our plates. I reached out to her after the situation and she's actually been by my side. Nothing sexual just something to look forward too.
These demons were eating me up. All the shit I had done. All the people I hurt. I used to think Val ruined my life, but really she just opened my eyes.
"Hey Val can I ask you a question? You don't have to answer if you don't want to," I said.
She put her plate on the table and looked at me. "Let's hear it."
I sighed. "With everything I've done to you. How can you still be around me? Still be nice to me? It blows my mind."
She smirked a bit. "Damien I have a heart and I do believe in forgiveness. You weren't you mentally. Don't get me wrong, I miss Dante with everything in me and you have put me through hell." She paused to wipe her tears.
I looked down at my hands. The amount of guilt I felt was un-fucking-bearable. I started to cry when I felt her hands lift my face. I looked into her eyes as she leaned closer pressing her lips against mine.
These fucking lips. I missed them. I needed them. "I love you. It's always been you Damien," she whispered. I felt my dick grow harder than it's ever been.

I walked into the baby's room where Dino was. He was looking at our babygirl. She popped into the world a little earlier than expected.
I walked up beside and squeezed his hand. He lifted my hand to kiss it. "Ya'll are the best thing to happen to me", he said.
I smiled. Life was perfect. As much as I missed Dante, I couldn't help but wonder if this all happened for me to get back to Dino. Maybe he was my destiny after all. I was finally truly happy. I leaned in to kiss our babygirl Riley on the cheek. I then turned to kiss Dino.
"I'm gonna make dinner baby. Come down when you're ready." He slapped my butt and I giggled and walked downstairs. I walked to the kitchen and pulled out all the materials for chicken and steak quesadillas.
I turned on Bluetooth speaker and put my music on shuffle. Baby Bash I'm back came on. I danced around the kitchen as I prepped the food. "Don't look no further...baby I'm back here", I sang.
I poured a glass of wine for me and Dino and sat his on the table. I then heard the doorbell ring. "I'll get it babe", I said. I turned my music down and walked to the door and opened it.
There was a man with a black hoodie on and I couldn't see his face. "Hi can I help you", I asked. He looked up at me and removed his hood. I couldn't believe my eyes. My wine glass dropped to the floor and cracked.
