rye got a lot of sympathy from blair that day after he told him everything, from writing a song about andy to actually meeting him but losing him straight away. rye hated himself for letting andy go so easily and he wanted to write another song about him. he loved writing songs about his loved ones because they're so personal and they mean so much to him; he loves performing them live as well to get his emotions out. whenever he sings 'little things' live, he tries so hard no to cry his eyes out because he thinks about andy and how beautiful he is but he can't see that because he gets told the complete opposite. rye just wants to help the poor boy and help him accomplish his actual dream and life goals instead of leading him on with a fake one.

"where the fuck have you been?!" andy's mother screams as she runs up too him and lands her tough hand on his face. andy stumbles back before looking into his mum's terrifying eyes with his teary eyes; he was used to this but it still scared him a lot.

"sorry, mother. i was just at the park and i lost track off the time" he shrugged his shoulders

"not good enough, for god's sake andy! just fucking sit in front of the camera and smile" she shouted and shoved him on to the stool in front of the camera, where the photographer scowled at him but began taking photos and bossing andy around.

finally the next two hours had gone by really quickly and so he stormed out of the room without waiting for his mother. he walked out holding his breath but released it when he saw the brown haired boy singing in a booth in the room next door to him. he admired rye from the door and was about to turn away but rye's sad brown eyes got lost in andy's as they held their eye contact until andy's mum shoved him away.

"was that a boy you were looking at?!" his mum screeched when they got outside.

"no.."

"yes it was! don't fucking lie to me" she shouted at landed a smack upon his soft but now red skin: "you will never be gay and if you dare even have a slight interest in any boy, you will be kicked out, understood?!"

"y-yes, mother" he stuttered then turned around to see rye watching with his mouth agape: "i need the toilet, i'll be back in a minute" andy lied as he walked towards rye.

"hurry up!" andy ignored her and soon walked around the corner and was immediately engulfed into a warm hug.

"why did she hit you?" rye asked when they pulled, andy looking to the ground with red cheeks.

"you saw that?" andy whispered.

"of course, why?" he asked. andy shrugged his shoulders then looked into rye's eyes: "i have to go now, bye rye"

"wait!" rye took a hold off his soft hand to twirl him around. andy looked at rye with bright blue eyes that held a glint of confusion. he quickly looked down to their hands then straight back into rye's eyes but then back down to the white piece of paper rye was handing him.

"wha-"

"it's my number, please message me when you get in the car"

"okay" andy shrugged his shoulders before surprising both him and rye by hugging him but then walking away to the car.

"finally we can go, drive for god's sake" his mother ordered as andy did his seat belt and tried to secretly put rye's number in his phone; which he succeeded but he didn't dare message rye. he was too scared to do it so he just put his earphone in and listened to rye's music again for the rest of the car journey.
