Leaving the cafe at about 10 pm she heard a wolf whistle behind her. Rolling her eyes she whipped around ready to confront the horrid excuse of a man. She had instantly recognized the vile scent of alcohol but as she turned to flee, foreign hands landed on her hips.

"Get off! Get off of me!" Lilith had screamed desperately hoping someone would hear her and come to help.

"Now, now. A pretty thing like you shouldn't be wasting your breath by screaming." The man slurred through his words, covering her mouth with his bear like hands. Lilith continued scrambling around and screaming but soon realized her screams would not be heard. Acting on instinct she did the first thing she thought of. She bit his hand and screamed before kneeing him in the groin and sprinting away.

Helpless and confused she fell against the wall, her body stagnant, in the alley. Simply wishing there was something she could do to prevent it from happening again. That is when Death himself showed up.

---

The one thing Death absolutely despised were people like Justin Gamble. He had heard the poor girl's screams for help and rushed over without thinking. His one rule was to remain unseen by mundane eyes. That is unless it was their time to die or it was a special case so he had taken her under his wing.

Lilith remembers how startled she had been when she saw the black aura surrounding the tall dark haired man. She had wanted to get up and run but had no energy to do so. Death attempted to calm Lilith, as awkward as it may seem, and told her of the wonders he could do for her. This is when she became his second hand man, or woman in her case, and Death had cared deeply for her. Because as of now, she was family. If anyone had done her wrong and he found out he would kill them without question.

---

The car pulled to a stop in front of the tall white stoned house, pulling the young woman from her thoughts. Lilith carefully stepped out of the vehicle with the help of her chauffeur. Gliding into her house, clutching the file close to her chest she is careful not to drop any papers out of it.

Walking into her sitting room she took a seat on her white polyester couch leaning into the cushions.

"Reginald! Would you be a dear and fetch me some tea?" She snapped her fingers sitting up straight examining the file once again.

"Yes madame." Reginald replied bowing respectively before walking out of the room.

Once the door shut Lilith opened the file laying the papers out on the glass table. She picked up the first paper.

---

Thoughts circled through Lilith's head forming the perfect revenge for Justin.

Okay, well I already know his name... Huh, his birthday is June fifth? That information could be useful. He's 26, that's not as useful. Hazelnut brown hair, I already knew that. Amber eyes, interesting. 6'2" I knew he seemed tall, no wonder it was difficult to get away...

Huh, charges? Now we're getting somewhere. Assault, well that much is predictable... Theft, not much to do with there. Domestic violence, once again, predictable. Family members interesting, very interesting indeed. This could be very useful. Barbara Gamble, mother... John Gamble, father... Michael Gamble... Brother. Yes, I could use this information. Fears, here's the good stuff. Heights... Fire... Death.. All very basic, but useful nonetheless.

---

She jolted out of her thoughts upon hearing footsteps outside the door. With that she put the paper back into the file, setting it down on the table as Reginald walked into the sitting room holding a tray of her tea and lemon scones. Lilith gives him a smile as he sets the tray on the table.
