(A week after the previous chapter ended)
Jaeden's POV
I woke up around eight to the sound of my phone going off it was Alyssa texting me.
Text conversation below
Alyssa: hey u awake yet???
Me:I am now
Alyssa:good tell Vicky that we are going shopping at 10
Me:k
Alyssa:u can come too Ravi is going to the skate park if u wanna go
Me:tell him I'm coming too!!!
I didn't feel like sleeping longer so I got up and went into the kitchen and started making chocolate chip pancakes. I had just finished the first batch and set them out on a plate on the breakfast bar and put out chocolate syrup when Victoria came in.
"You sleep well?" I asked
"Yeah. You?" She said yawning
"Yeah. do you like chocolate chip pancakes?" I questioned.
"Yes!" She said and looked at all the pancakes on the breakfast bar. I sat down next to her.
"Eat up you have a big day!" I said flashing her a smile
"What?" She said as we both put a few pancakes on our plates.
"You and Alyssa are going shopping while me and Ravi go to the skate park."
"Ohhh!"
After we ate she went and got a shower while I cleaned up. She had offered to help but I insisted she get ready. After I got ready I met everyone else upstairs. The girls dropped me and Ravi off at the skate park and then went to the mall.

Vicky's POV
After me and Alyssa had gone into like a thousand stores we decided to go back to the skate park and get the boys. I was sitting behind Alyssa I could feel my anxiety rising, in my chest I could feel my lungs yearning for air, I was sucking in quick small breaths of air, my leg was bouncing at a fast pace.
"Vicky are you okay?" Alyssa asks I can't answer I just pull a brown paper bag out of my purse put it up to my face and breath into it.
Jaeden's POV
Me and Ravi saw Alyssa and Victoria pulled in and park. Alyssa hoped out of the driver's seat and went to the back door and opened it briefly. Then she ran over to us we had just finished gathering our stuff. Were started walking back to the car.
"Jaeden when you get in the car don't talk, don't move, don't touch Vicky." Her tone was serious I didn't understand but Ravi seemed to. I was about to ask what was going on but Ravi was getting in the driver's seat and Alyssa in the passenger's seat s I got in the back with Victoria. As soon as I got in I noticed one she was breathing in a bag two she was crying and three she was shaking. After everyone was buckled we drove off. I resisted the urge to hug her and calm her down because of what Alyssa had said.
"Here Victoria take this." Alyssa said handing Victoria a pink pill that I guessed was benadryl and water. Removing the bag from her face Victoria put the pill in her mouth and drank some water with it. By the time we got home I had so many questions but refrained from asking. After she took the pill Victoria slowly seemed to be getting back to normal but she still wasn't the same. we all got out and walked in Alyssa walked with her arm around Vicks' back. As soon as we got inside Vicks went down stairs without a word. "Wh-what happened?" I asked Ravi or Alyssa but Alyssa answered first.
"If you want to know you need to go down stairs and talk to Victoria," she paused "it's not my place to tell." So I went down stairs and found Vicks sitting on our couch fumbling with her fingers. When I walked in she looked up at me and walked over.
Wrapping her arms around my neck she whispered in my ear
"It's okay I promise." I guess she saw the worry in my eyes before and still. She let one arm fall to her side and her other arm dropped and she gathered my hand in hers and lead me over to the couch. We sat down side by side. I couldn't hold it in anymore I wanted to hold her in my arms so I did. I hugged her tight to my chest and she let me.
Ar-are you okay?" I asked tripping over my own words even though she had already told me she was okay.
"I'm okay Jaeden I promise." She said reassuringly. I pulled away from her hug to ask her
"Wh-what happened?" I questioned looking directly into her eyes.
"It was an anxiety attack that's all."
"I was so scared you were hurt." I said
"No I'm okay do you want me to explain it to you or not." She said calmly gazing at me.
"Yeah." I whispered I was so nervous and still coming off and adrenaline high and she must've noticed because she held my hand rubbing small circles in the back of my hand. Both of us looking at our hands she began.
"I don't want to scare you but when I have an anxiety attack I get nervous and I start crying I shake,usually my leg shakes so bad my whole body starts to shake, I start breathing in quick small breaths, I don't like to be talked to, I don't like unexpected movements,I don't like to be touched infact that makes it worse, sometimes my fingers, hands, and sometimes face will go numb from hyperventilating..I breathe in a bag to help me see how fast or slow I'm breathing so I know how much I need to slow down my breathing and the benadryl helps calm your nerves." I had no idea what to say after she finished talking so I just nodded my head slowly thinking about everything she had just said.
"I'm sorry if I scared you today." She said lightly
"It's fine." she
Laced our fingers together as she stood.I stood too.
"I have something to tell you if you want to hear it?" She questioned
"Okay." I said. She lead me to her room and over to her nightstand. She opened the drawer and pulled out a orange prescription bottle she held it out a little for me to see but still close to her as if she was ashamed.
"You pr-promise you won't treat me any di-different if I t-tell you what this is?"
"I promise." She heaved in a huge breath and began
"Okay so.." I could tell she was nervous so I cut her off
"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." I said looking in her eyes she shook her head
"No I want to.." I gathered her hand in mine before she continued.
"Back in the seventh grade I had some bad things happen with some friends, what they did cut deep into my heart and I had anxiety attacks and depression but never told anyone about my depression until last year and I had to get medication for it. Some days I get really sad and want to hurt myself because I have so much self hate." I couldn't stand it anymore I held her tight into my chest not wanting her to hurt anymore.
Victoria's POV
Jaeden held me almost too tight to his chest but I didn't want this hug to end so I just stood there in his arms. I wondered if I made a mistake telling him and I disregarded it automatically. I pulled my head back to look at him.
"Would you be mad if I kissed you?" He said his eyes soft and questioning. I gently shook my head. His eyes became even softer the questioning look leaving his face he tilted my chin up with his index finger and bent his head down I could taste his minty breath then he gently kissed my lips. His lips were cool against mine it felt so good.
Jaeden's POV
Her lips were soft. I stoked her hair with my hand. I felt small tugs on my shirt when I pulled my mouth away from hers. I just hope I haven't ruined our friendship. Our lips were about to lock again when her phone rang.
"I need to take this. I'm sorry." She said running out the door.
Victoria's POV
I ran up stairs and out the front door nearly not answering the phone on time.
"Hey Kris!" I said out of breath
"Hey Vicky! wassup?"
"Uh I uh I nothing." I stuttered
"Uhh huh sure." She said sarcastically
After my call with Kris I went down stairs again. I found Jaeden in his room shirtless of course, playing video games. I knocked on his door even though it was open. He looked up and put down his controller and waved me over. I sat down on his bed with him and says looking down
"So I know we don't know each other that well but what am I gonna have to do to get you to go on a date with me?" I was shocked I know he kissed me but I didn't expect him to ever even think about asking me out on a date.
"what if I don't want to go on a date with you?" I questioned wanting to make him sweat a little bit and it worked he got all nervous and said
"Th-then you don't have to go on a date with me." then I saw disappointment in his eyes as he looked away from me. Cupping his cheek I turned his head to face me
"I'm kidding I just wanted to make you sweat a little bit, I'd love to go on a date with you!"
"Really?" He asked I nodded my head in response
"How's monday?" He asked
"Sounds good to me." I replied. And he pecked my lips. For dinner we decided on a large supreme pizza a pepsi since we both prefer pepsi over coke. After the pizza arrived we went in to our living room and watched stranger things. A little ways in Jae says
"I should invite the IT cast over to hang out soon, I bet they'd love to meet you."
"Tomorrow?" I asked hopefully
"Sure!" Jae adds me to a group chat that consists of
Jack, Wyatt, Finn, Chosen, Sophia, Jeremy, Nicolas, Millie, Jaeden, and now me and we add Cassy from my flight to LA. After everyone understands who everyone is everyone is in to come over tomorrow. Me and Jaeden continue watching strangers things till we both crash.
