So it's been a couple of weeks of going back and forth to Attorney Walkins office and trying to find out about Brea's disappearance it's been about 6 months now and at this point, the police have tried everything they can.
My aunt and I haven't given up and I don't think that we ever will.
However, I have these babies and Dime to think about.
Ty tries what he can every now and then but he has completely focused now on our family we have going on and finding Ronnie.
I know he plans on killing Ronnie and I try not to stress him or my self out because we have a lot going on.
Diamond has stopped asking about Brea.
I have begun to show a lot I look about 6 or 7 months even though I'm only 5 and a half weeks but I'm not complaining the babies or healthy that's all that matters.
Serenity and I hung out almost every day she has a new man in her life and he and Ty begin to become really good friends.
Also, I and Serenity are opening u a boutique together called Simply Pretty.
I'm just ready to get this legal thing with my mom handled.
Today the results of the DNA test came in, of course, I know that Dime is mine but the courts need proof that she is mine.
While Dime is in school and Ty is out handling business I decided to go by myself to Ms. Walkins office.
I make it to the office.
Ms. Walkins welcomes me with opening arms.
I sit down and we discuss the possible outcomes.
If it proves that she is mine then my mom has no case and if not I might have to send her back to my mother's custody.
Ms. Walkins opens the piece of paper it says " Diamond is mine" well those are not the exact words, however, that is basically what the words were saying.
"Congrats Ms. Lewis now I have one question, " Ms. Walkins says.
"Yes," I said.
"Do you want to disclose who the birth father is?" she asks me.
I begin to cry.
I've never really thought about doing this and I have a feeling if I do it might send my mom to prison hopefully she needs to be in jail for everything she's done to us.
"There is something I have to tell you," I say. I tell her everything my mother has done to me how she basically gave me to her pimp and how she let a strange man molest and rape my sister who is my child.
"Wow I'm so sorry you went through all that and at the court date I could bring all this up, however, this is family court we have to make a statement first which could be a police report and since this has happened within a 5 year span she could possibly be sent to change and the men involved as well" she says.
That brings music to my ears my mom is a sick person who needs need and if that means putting her in jail then so be it.
After my meeting with Ms. Walkins, I get in my car and pick up Diamond.
Ms.Walkins gave me some good advice to file a police report against my mother.
I pick up Diamond and we head straight to the police station.
We arrive soon out in front of the building but before we go inside I inform Dime about what's about to take place.
"Okay Dime I need you to do mommy a favor okay," I say.
"Okay," she says.
"Remember when the bad lady's friend touch you I need you to tell the nice officers what happened okay," I said.
"Okay," she says.
We head inside there are police and detectives everywhere a much older officer walks up to me and asks me "may I help you."
"Yes I need to file a police report," I said.
"Alright sure, what's it about," he asked.
"My mom has let my child get raped," I said. I see a lot of people stop what they are doing and look at us.
"Alright, I will get you a detective hold on," he says.
I sent him to leave the front desk and shortly return with a much younger female and male detective.
"Follow us please," the female says.
Dime and I follow them.
They take us inside a dim lit room I could tell it was an interrogation room.
We all sit down.
"I'm detective Martinez," says the female detective.
"I'm detective Smith," says the male detective
"Tell us what happened, " Mr. Smith says
I tell them everything and then they ask me to leave the room the female detective stays and talks to Dime and the male detective takes me in a separate room and talks to me.
We mostly talked about how it was living with my mom and he wanted to know why I didn't say anything sooner.
I never really thought about why I didn't say anything.
An up until now I guess it's because growing up police was always at our house because my parents were always domestic disputes.
I honestly couldn't tell if he was believing what I said or he was genuinely showing sympathy towards me.
Soon the female detective comes out the room with Dime and they seem cool with each other.
"Hey, Tiff" Dime says. }
"Hey, " I said hugging her.
"May I speak to you for a sec" detective Martinez says to me.
I follow her back to the room and she says " after I've spoken with Diamond she does show signs of trauma and she does seem credible, however, she might be too young to be out in the stand and I will have the A.D.A speak to you soon we must investigate further."
"Thank you," I said.
I then asked her if there was a way she could give me a report or something indicating there will be an investigation into my mother.
When she asked me "why," I told her about the custody issue I was having with my mom and she understood.
When we left the room I hear a TV playing and the news person says " the body of a young teen has been found."
I immediately felt my self slowly falling all I could do is think is that my cuz and if so was Ronnie and even Paris involved.
Everything goes black and I wake up to police and detectives hovering over me and somebody holding me.
"Ms. Lewis can you hear me " is all I heard.
"I'm okay," I said.
Two officers help me up and place me in a chair.
"Do you need medical assistance?" detective Smith asks "no im okay I need to know if that body they found was my cousin," I said.
