I glared at my expressionless face in the mirror, sunlight fading behind my shoulders, only to find myself hugging my knees on the floor seconds later. Every bone in my body ached and every last bit of muscle felt tighter and tighter with each breath. Yet, nothing hurt. Nothing hurt more than seeing my reflection in the glass in that moment, the moment I realized I was lost. I was broken. I was a walking illness.  I was Anorexia.

And I wouldn't make it out alive.
