"hello, angel. how's today going?" i looked down at the weak little girl that once was so vibrant and happy with me. she was now tiny, blood-drenched, and scared. she had been lock up in a tiny little bunker near the end of the woods of our town. i didn't really kill her just messed her up a little.

she looked up at me with pain and regret in her eyes. "why are you doing this to me? please, it's been months... let me go." she pleaded with me. i just snickered at her.

"angel, you think i'm stupid? you'd tell everyone what i did then i could never be with you." i smiled lifting her chin up to look me in the eyes. "and i want to be with you forever pretty little angel."

"it didn't have to be like this gus. i didn't have to turn out this way. i wanted to be with you too. i really did like you! but now i'm scared of you! terrified even." she whimpered. i sat down beside her holding her hand in mine.

"angel... you'll never love the devil." i whispered into her ear making her flinch. she scurried back towards the wall letting her hair fall in front her.

"gus...i'm no angel. if you let me go we can still be together!" a new offer came to the table. i turned towards her smiling.

"do you really mean it? or do you just want out?" i asked stepping in front of her. "i mean it." she replied her voice so weak and frail. i walked over to a set of keys hanging on the wall.

"i'll let you out for two hours. if you come back with just you and no one else. we can be free and live forever but if you never come back or tell anyone... i will kill you." i smiled letting her out of the cuffs. she shakily stood up looking at me.

"come on angel." i pulled her hand to the steps leading out to my truck. "it's the same truck you had last time." she smiled for the first time since she last seen daylight. it was about six pm so it should be getting dark soon.

"i'll get you some clothes and a shower then you can go in your two hours. i'll be in the bunker till then." i took her hand of bone holding it in my large hand. i looked at the thin layer of skin that outlined her bone.

"i can't believe i did this to you. why! why! why! why did I do this to my angel! i'm so fucking stupid!!!" i felt her rough hand glide across my face then her gentle lips press on mine. this was the first kiss we ever shared in the whole year i've had her locked up in there. i felt a warm sensation go up my spine making me freeze and calm myself.

"it's okay." she whispered to me. her voice was like a kiss itself. but what she said was not true. i wasn't okay. i was anything but okay. i let myself get the best of me.

"i'm psychotic angel." i whimpered to her. she looked up at me and kissed my cheek. "it's okay... i love you gus." but did she really mean it?

"I'd really like a shower." she pouted look at me with puppy dog eyes. I smiled looking at the steering wheel letting up a deep breath. "Okay." i sighed starting up my truck.

I took her to my friend dylan's house where i also been staying at nights letting her shower and giving her new clothes dressing her up like the angel she is.

"You look beautiful angel." i said stepping away admiring what i had. What was mine.

"Thank you Gustav." she stepped away doing a wreaked twirl almost falling from weakness.

"Now angel, i'm going to let you go. You can do whatever you want... go where ever see whoever but if you tell i'll kill you. If you don't come back... i'll kill myself." i smiled keeping my hands on her hips. She leaned down kissing my head. "I understand."

I gave her a phone with a blocked number a dropped her off at her tree.

"Angel?" i said looking out the window of my old truck.

"Yes gustav?" she smiled back at me even though all the pain and torcher i caused her.

"I love you... with my whole entire heart and always will. You have my heart. Forever." she leaned in kissing me grabbing onto the side of my face. Once she pulled away i ran my hand on the scar i gave her on the side of her face.
