Neighbours ~ A Romeo Beckham Story

Y/N POV

We arrived at the cafe. We were in the same cafe yesterday with dad only this time we didn't have to race eachother home. Jack was already at the cafe when we arrived, he had got us all a table to sit at. The order we sat in was Cruz, Mason and Tilly on the chairs across the table from us. Then Me, Romeo and Harper on the opposite side with Jack on another chair at the end of the table. I felt kinda awkward sitting there not really saying much until Romeo turned to face me and started a conversation. "So what are you and your brother doing after this?" He said. "Nothing really, honestly I have no clue. Why?" I responded."Well I was wondering if you and Mason wanted to come play soccer with some friends of Cruz and I". "Sure thing we will be there". " How bout 2:30" he said. "Sure" I said back. It had been about five minutes since we arrived then a waiter came up to us to take our orders. I got a blackberry smoothie and some avocado on toast. Romeo got the same thing only with pancakes instead of toast with avo. We were all talking about the new movie that just came out called Instant Family (such a good movie btw) when all of a sudden I felt a shadow come above our table. I looked up and saw this girl she had bleach blonde hair that must have had at least a million extensions sewn to her head, makeup caked on with a bright orange foundation that didn't even match her really bad spray tan. Big false eyelashes that looked like a drag queen would wear and eyebrows that looked similar to if she were to try and glue log to her face. She wore extremely revealing tight clothing with ankle boots. "Hi baby" she said aiming it at Romeo. I could tell he was really uncomfortable and abit annoyed at her. "Hi Anastasia, (sorry of that is your name) look I'm sorry I'm hanging out with my friends right now can you please leave me alone" he said annoyed with an emotionless look on his face. "But ba-" Anastasia was cut off by Romeo saying extremely loud "I'm not your babe or baby ok, can you please leave me alone". "Why?, do you wanna hang out with slut" she said in a bitch tone looking at me. I stood up and marched over to her. "Okay listen here you little brat, here are the cold hard facts that reality clearly hasn't told you already. 1. Romeo obviously doesn't like you and I don't blame him. 2. You don't look pretty so stop trying to act like you are the best thing money could possibly buy because quite frankly you aren't and 3. Don't go calling me or anyone else a slut when you look like a miniature prostitute ok." I practically screamed in her face. Her once orange face started to grow to be a bright pink. She looked like she was going to turn into an even bigger monster. Then all of a sudden out of now where she shoved me really hard then tried to throw a punch in but missed. As my father always told me "never hit someone unless they hit first". So with that thought in my head I punched her across the face and shoved her over making sure she would hit some thing hard on her way down to the floor. As she hit the ground she started screaming "Just wait till my daddy hears about this" and with that she left. "Holy cow" Romeo said in complete shock while Mason sat there with his head in his hands while shaking his head. "You can thank me later" I said as we started finishing up our meals so we could leave.

Time Skip (to the park)

Me, Mason and Tilly arrived at the park which was down the opposite side of the street. This park had beautiful bright green grass And tall trees that were filled with many exotic fruits or flowers. The soccer field that was there was massive. It was in the centre of the park.

Romeos POV

I saw y/n admiring the park and right then and there I knew she had to be mine one day. I know I have only known her for like 3 days now but every minute I spent with her I felt more attracted to her. "Hey guys you wanna play a game now" I heard many muffled "yeahs" and "sure". I walked up to y/n and her brother and brought them over to meet some of Cruz and I's friends. "Y/n and Mason this is Max, Harvey, Case, Joey, Hayden, Finn and Johnny. Guys this is Y/n and Mason, they are new to London and the neighbourhood" they all greeted them individually but I notice all of them seemed to keep staring or acting differently around y/n. I was getting kind of annoyed at them. Especially because I saw her first. Plus they are all like 1 year older/younger then her. Guys we will all split up into teams of 6. Y/n, Cruz, Tilly, Max, Joey and I were all on one team. Then Harvey, Mason, Johnny, Finn, Case and Hayden were on the other. I was shocked at how good y/n was at soccer. Her and Tilly were like an unstoppable duo when playing together. Our team won 18-0 to the other team. We all called it a day and went back home.

Y/N POV

I met some of the friends of Romeo and Cruz today and the soccer game we played was great. The guys all seemed to be shocked that I could play but then again I was an QLD (Queensland) rep back home for soccer. I thought that, that Joey kid was kinda cute. Same with that Case kid but none of them could beat Romeo. I was getting really tired so I decided to shower and go to bed.
