Hunted

On The Run

It was a sunny afternoon in the tall grass Summer and Kotiro rough housed, while Kilo and Dez were off to find some mischievous things to do.
Kilo and Dez ran down the Dakota river and ran down the side of it. "Hey Dez I think I see a herd of sheep, we should prove to Shadow that we are stronger than he thinks we are." Kilo said smartly. Dex replied in a mean way "Dude your stupid theres people up there. Can't you smell them? Didn't Mom and Dad also say we aren't allowed to go hunting without them?" Kilo replies a little anergy Dez are you for reals gonna be that one kid that listens to every school rule?" Dez looks at him confused and defeated. "fine but if we get in trouble I'm ratting you out." says Dez. Kilo smiles and wags tail "fair enough."

Kotiro and Summer stopped rough housing ran to the den and saw Karma and Kryo dragging a deer back home with Shadow following behind strong and proud. "Guys look what I tracked down!" said Shadow wagging his tail and smiling. "That looks like It's gonna be yummy!" Kotiro says while drooling at the dead doe. "You got a little something right there." says Summer looking at Kotiro trying not to laugh. Kotiro wipes the drool off of her onto Summer and laughs. "EW! KOTIRO WHY?" yelled Summer. Kotiro laughs hysterically.

Kilo and Dez started to stalk a sheep. Kilo whispered to Dez "1.. 2.." a snap came from behind them. Dez turned around and saw a person with a shot gun pointed straight at him. "3!" shouted Kilo while jumping mouth open at the sheep's neck. BOOM! The sound echoed off the mountains. "KILO!!" Dez shouted. Kyro runs to where he lasted heard Dez. The guy with the gun yelled at Dez and Kilo "Get outta here!" Kyro sees the guy as he walks up to Dez with the gun pointed at him. Kyro dashes at him and jumps mouth open and grabs his arm. The guy falls to the ground screaming in pain. Dez pushes Kilo up and the dash off into the Maple Hills.

Shadow runs to Kyro and sees the guy on the ground and sees two more guys show up with shotguns and pistols. Shadow looks to his left and sees Dez and Kilo working their way up the side of Apple Hill and runs to them. "Oh my god are you ok Kilo?" Shadow says while looking at Kilo's wound in his leg. "I'm ok but we really need to get out of here" Kilo says while limping and bleeding terribly.

Karma bolted to Kyro with Kotiro following behind. A guy saw Karma and Kotiro and shouted at them "get out of here or you gonna end up like your buddy!" Karma bared her teeth. Off in the distance Kyro let off a loud yelp. Karma and Kotiro ran far, far away with realizing Summer was left behind.
