"Abbie, darling, we understand. You'll always be our daughter but you're also someone else's and we think you need to do this as well." Mum says as she hugs me.
I'm so grateful and thankful that mum and dad adopted me but at the same time, I need to be with my biologic family, if it goes wrong I'll come back but I think I want to stay in Manhattan with them.
I hug mum and then dad before I go and pack. I'm not taking all of my stuff because I'll still come back to visit mum and dad but I will take a few suitcases full.
A few hours later and I'm done. I booked a flight for 7 o'clock, so I'll be heading to the airport very shortly. I also booked a room in a hotel for tonight.
After a very sad goodbye to mum and dad, I hop into the cab.
