Okay, this happened on Wednesday this week and it was really scary when i think about it!

So i was in the bus with other commuters, i just ended work (i changed my job btw :D) and yea, i was seating in a four seater seat which faces each other.

I was texting my boyfriend and suddenly, there was a shout!

Sitting opposite me is a darker skinned tone lady who has an accent belonging to an indian, i'm not so sure which race she belongs to!

All i know is that she keeps shouting a bunch of colorful vocabulary that you can think of and they are meant for the group of teens sitting next to us.

1 girl, 2 boys. Probably around my age or older than me?

They were pretty embarassed after being shouted in the middle of public, but they showed no signs of remorse. (seriously?)

According to what the frustrated woman was shouting, apparently the group of teens were whispering something about her. (what i am guessing is racism because it is very common in my country. maybe they were gossiping about her race, her weird sense of fashion, maybe the fact that she's plump?)

I didn't catch what they said, only the woman heard it and she was so angry and mad that she kept shouting and shouting like a mad woman, humiliating them in front of the public.

A malay uncle stepped in and tried to reason with her that it is the public and she should not behave like a public nuisance. But it made him mad that she scolded him back so he just left the bus.

She continued shouting and shouting at them (let me give you a further example of what spewed out from her mouth: "lick your mother's c*nt, s*ck your father's balls" of course, there's a lot more but im not going to elaborate more on than :/)

Anyways, one of the boys tried to fight back but ended up making her even more mad and she just kept shouting.

What i felt that the boy should do is to just let her rant. Seriously, why were they even talking about her in the first place?

If they wanted to gossip about her, they should jolly well do it behind her back. Why talk about her in front of her face, knowing that she might get offended?

Sorry, but nowadays the teens are very insensitive towards other people's feelings and i feel like they just spit out things that hurt people and they don't care which is really rude!

So, imagine the awkwardness with the group of teens acting as if they were caught red-handed for something they did, giving each other looks, while the woman was just pissed off.

And so, she finally simmered down and stopped. The girl wanted to leave as it was her stop, as she passed by, the woman had to shout out, "go and s*ck their balls."

The girl just flip her off and alighted the bus, not bothering about her.

Next when it was her turn to alight, she walked past the remaining boys and muttered, "you piece of shit."

After she alighted, the 2 boys snickered and laughed as if it was funny. The rest of us had solemn looks on our faces.

Like seriously? After you offended her, you start laughing your ass out instead of feeling guilty?

This is when i realised, our society has become so f*cked up.

So yup, this is the end of my little storytime in the bus! It was kind of my first time encountering something so interesting in a public transport :)

But it was kind of a valuable lesson though, it's like teaching us to be more considerate of other people's feeling, to think before saying something otherwise we will be facing consequences and lastly, to reflect on our actions..

Maybe it is like what this hashtag that my boyfriend's older sister always like to use: #spreadlovenothate!

- Jamie (the bitmoji character isn't me in real life lol, i wanted to have hair goals like this!)
