Summer Memories

Maple leaves falling down the autumn trees,

Snowflakes rushing down the winter breeze,

All I felt was coldness deep inside

Missing the warmness of summertime,

I saw you sitting down by the water,

I wanted to get far but at the same time get closer,

I don't know why things need to get yonder,

Maybe next time, I'll make things ponder.

Then we talked and talked,

Until I never felt the same as before

I began to know you even more,

And talking to you didn't make me feel bore.

Late at night, I was watching at the stars,

All of them were shining bright,

Like those twinkle in your eyes,

Everytime we started out with a Hi

But then this summer starts to fade away,

All the colors, all seem to turn gray

Everytime I went back to those days,

Right then I realized, nothing will ever going to be the same

Why not even one last goodbye

Had escaped out of your mouth?

Why do you have to be gone,

Like bubbles that suddenly popped out,

I kept on asking why,

But you just left me things,

That serves as a memory

That I surely amiss

Cause I think of you all the time.

Now summer had ended,

Then memories started to get faded,

For me its going to be a start of a new day,

Welcoming the sunlight once again.
