Chapter 1

Sonic's P.O.V.
It was a normal day. Me and Amy were casually walking on the park, looking around holding each other's hand and discussing ...Well... More like me listening to her complaining, but I was used to it at this point.

Yes, me and Amy are dating. We've been dating for almost a year... a long, long year...

You see, after all those years of Amy begging me to date her, I decided to give her a chance, which I immediately regretted, since Amy started criticizing my every move. From the way I walked, to the way I acted towards her. For example, one time I wasn't in the mood to go outside, since I had a fight with my sister, Sonia, but Amy kept insisting on going on a date, just because she felt like it. She also said that if I didn't listen to her, I won't go anywhere in life, which was a lie and I knew it, but the way she said it and the continuous comments about the wrong movements, made me think about her words at nights...

I kept saying to myself that I'll break up with her, but every day I do the exact opposite, I sit down and listen to her complains and almost always change my behavior to the way she liked it.

I felt brainwashed. Every day was hell.

As we walked to the entrance of the park, with Amy complaining about my personality and about her appearance, saying that she needs to lose weight, just to feel better when I tell her that's she's beautiful like that, although I hated myself when I did, we came across the last person I wanted to see, Scourge.

"Hey Pinky, what are you doing here?" Scourge said with a sly smirk as he walked to us with his arms wide open. Amy looked at little uneasy and hesitant at first, but she eventually let go of my hand and hugged Scourge. I was shocked and confused at first, why was she hugging Scourge? She knew how much I hated him.

Scourge looked at me with a smirk, "What's wrong Blue? Jealous much?" He chuckled and kissed Amy's cheek.

I was speechless, shocked, confused, but I was sure as hell NOT jealous. I shook my head and raised a brow, crossing my arms. "What are you doing here? Why are you so close to Amy?" I said since I knew Amy will get mad if I don't talk about her. One of her complains.

Scourge chuckled and looked at Amy. "Haven't you told him yet?" He raised a brow as he pulled away from the hug.

Amy dropped her ears and sheepishly laughed as she scratched the back of her head. "N-not yet..." I sat there looking at them with my arms crossed waiting for an explanation.

Amy looked at me with a sheepish smile "Well Sonic... You see..." She looked at Scourge for a second then laughed nervously. "Me and Scourge are close friends..." She said with a forced smile.

I didn't believe her and stayed in place. Scourge sighed and wrapped an arm around Amy's neck. "We're not a thing Blue, I'm gay." He said with a wide smirk on his face. I looked at Scourge a little shocked but shook my head and turned around.

"I'm going home, it's getting late." I said before dashing to my house, not listening to Amy who shouted my name. I slammed the door when I reached my house. I was mad at Amy for lying to me, and cheating on me, but I couldn't care less about that.

I went to my bathroom and took a quick shower, then walked to my bedroom and plopped on the bed, thinking about Amy's words. It just didn't make sense, how could she do all that when she complained about me doing that every time I waved at Rouge, Blaze, or any girl in general...

These thoughts kept me awake for hours, until I finally fell asleep, thinking about him.
