Preference : Gala dresses part 1/6

Hi !!! Yes, we're back for a short series. I have seen a lot of preference books lately and I always wanted to try and do some of those. But the book by ButtercreamPrincess was the spark that motivated me enough to do it. As usual, I didn't do it alone. I was helped by ChachaScamander and leag42 helped us too. There will be 33 dresses and we each chose 11 of them. I love colored hearts so let's say that ❤️ means that Cha chose it, 💜 will be for Léa and 🧡 for me.

And we didn't want to just throw a dress for each driver, not that I don't like it when authors do that. But I'd like to understand why they thought about it for them. So for each dress, there will be a short explanation about why this and not something else.

🧡 Kevin Magnussen :

I wanted something icy blue because Kevin comes from Denmark and I felt like it would look good next to his black and dark grey suits. Then, I searched for a light, fluid type of dress because he has an angel with opened wings tattooed on the chest. This form reminds me of the fairy style of the tattoo. Finally, I think it's not too flashy which fits his personality.

💜 Kimi Raikkonen :

According to Léa, Minttu wore a backless dress for their wedding so she took inspiration from that. Then, the cold blue fits Kimi's personality perfectly and looks similar to the Finnish flag. Finally, the glittery part of the dress is a reminder of his world championship and all his success.

🧡 Jolyon Palmer (yes, you probably weren't expecting him but he has a picture on our wall so he has the right to be here too. ) :

I don't really know him but I've always seen him in yellow so I just had to choose this one. Then, this color is quite joyful and I don't remember seeing Jolyon not smiling, even when he lost (not that I saw him a lot but, you know ... 🤷🏻‍♀️😅) Finally it's a simple form and I think it fits him quite well overall.

💜 Esteban Ocon :

For Esteban, Léa thought of a relatively simple long dress, something that would make the girl look taller next to him, to kinda balance their couple. She chose a dark blue dress because it suits him and his grey or blue suits. We also really like the lace that brings a touch of elegance.

❤️ Daniil Kvyat :

This one is a bit difficult to explain because according to Cha, when she saw the dress, she immediately thought of Daniil. But after thinking a bit, she told me that she wanted something dark for him and that the golden touches reminded her of his lifestyle.

💜 George Russel :

She chose this dress because it suits his "dark" style. His dark eyelashes make him look darker than he probably is, he looks kinda tormented so we thought that this black laced dress reflected that quite well.
