Din is my bfflafe. She's the whole reason I'm not so lonley now that we made out transition from elementary to middle school. But there's another side to her. A dark... very dark side.

"Hey Faron!" She says as I approach the school's main entrance.

"Hey! Didn't see you coming!"

"I was wondering, since we always talk about how much of dumbasses boys are, I was wondering if you think there's any boy out there that you got something for" She gives me a nudge, I start blushing as I immediately start thinking of the love of my life, Atlas Phillips. But it brings back a memory I wish hadn't come to my mind at that moment.

~Flashback!!! [Mystical sound effects]~

This happened when we were 10, so about four years ago. We were just friends at this point, and I noticed that there was something not right. So one day I decided to build the guts and ask her what was wrong when we were outside of school walking home.

"Hey Din, I've noticed something strange about you. Is there something 'buggin ya?"

"Well... there has been something bothering me. But you have to promise me not to tell anyone."

" I pinky promise you this is between us and only us."

We sealed this 'sacred' (Zelda reference. hehe? Anyone? no? okay [I need to stop]) promise, we sat at a bench we found neat by and she began with the story.

~Din's Point of View~

"This all started almost a month ago." The moment I said that, all of those horrific memories started rolling back.

"I've had built a trust with a police officer that was always patrolling the grocery store me and my mom go every Saturday. His name was Officer Yamayoto. He would always talk to me and I eventually built a trust with him. One day, I went to go tell my mom that I was going to the restroom while she was at the register paying for her things. She told me I could go. I make my way to the restroom. When I closed the door behind me and walk to the toilet, I remembered that I didn't lock it. At that moment, I heard the door open, close and lock all at the same time." Then I started to sob.

"He t-told me that he wanted to have fun with me. That he wanted to play a game with me that only adults could play. He... came... a-and then... r-raped...me"  Then I had a breakdown.

"Din, don't cry... I'm here for you, and I'll always be." Faron said.

"I know y-you'll be there for me. I'm never trusting a SINGLE man again!" And I started crying even louder.

~Faron's Point of View~

After what Din had told me about, I didn't know how to react, so we sat there, as I hear cry, I'm thinking, 'Why would anyone do something like that to HER? Our of all people, she definitely  didn't deserve it.

~End of Flashback [Mystical musical transition to the present]~

When my mind finally snaped out of it, Din was shaking me.

"Jeez Faron, were you daydreaming about your mans?" She nudges me again.

"Oh HELL no! I hate guys as much as you do!" I respond

"That's what I thought!" We just stared at each other and laughed out asses off.

"Oh shit! We better hurry up, we got two minutes to get to first period!"

And we sprinted all the way to first period and made it there on time thanks to God himself.
