Once Again

One

Prologue:
Kiara Hades went through life knowing she had two ex boyfriends, both she didn't have to worry about crossing paths with. One died in a car accident, by drunk driver, a few years back. The other, well he's in LA, or so she though. He's back in Susquehanna with his band mates and a couple of his friends girlfriends. All staying at his house, which is just down the road from hers. So in a small town, where you live walking distance from each other. It won't be long until they're face to face again. Who knows how that'll go.

Chapter One: Kiaras POV
Kaylani, Sam, and I are currently pretending to be hanging out in my bedroom. Really all of us are just on our phones on Instagram, while being in the same room, which now a days we like to consider hanging out. Bored out of my mind, I look up at the girls. "Want to go for a walk? To the coffee shop?" I question of them, both of them somehow simultaneously lock their phones and look up at me, nodding.

"I could go for some coffee" Kaylani says.

"Whatever Kay, you can always go for Coffee." Sam rolls her eyes, glaring at Kaylani, "But I'm down, let's go."

Walking down the street Sam happens to point out someone I'd never thought I'd see again. "Who's the hottie?" She ask, pounding over at a familiar face with now curly hair.

I do a double take, frowning, "Jack Avery" Kaylani frowns, linking arms with me, pulling myself and Sam forward. "Kiaras ex boyfriend. He's off limits Sam" Sam hasn't been friends with us that long. I'd say about a year, where as Kaylani and I have known each other since second grade."

Chapter One: Jacks POV
"Hey Jack, small town right?" Daniel ask me.

"Yeah" I shrug, not getting his point.

"Who are those girls?" He ask, I look over and see a girl I was hoping to reconnect with. I was kind an ass to her, I didn't know at the time what I was putting her through. However, looking back now, she deserves an apology.

"The one in the yellow dress is Kiara, the one in the pink bomber is Kaylani, the one in the Calvin sports bra is Sam." I tell the boys, watching the girls, Kiara in particular. I didn't know Kaylani and Kiara hung out with Sam. Kaylani is how I met Kiara, Kay is my cousin, but Sam was the outcast growing up. She never tried to talk to anyone and no one tried to talk to her. She was the geeky kid, who admittedly got hot. I notice she, Sam, is watching us boys, me specifically. Raising my hand up I send her a simple wave. She turns to Kaylani and Kiara a wife toothy smile on her face as she starts to ramble inaudible words. I laugh, shaking my head as I turn back to the boys. "We didn't acknowledge Sam growing up" I explain.

"Why? She's hot" Zach stares after her.

"She was a geek and a complete loner, she wasn't always hot." He looks back at me in disbelief.

"The girl coming over here" Daniel questions, "Kaylani?"

"My cousin" I answer, meeting her halfway. "Kiara let you ditch her for me."

"Contrary to her hatred for you, she actually forced me to ditch her and Sam to come catch up with you." She answers me, hugging me.

"Yeah, Whatever, come meet the guys and a couple of their girls." I tell her. "Everyone, this is my cousin Kaylani" I tell them, "Kay, these are my band mates Zach, Jonah, Daniel, and Corbyn. Then Christina and Tate." I inform Kaylani.

"It's a pleasure" Kaylani smiles at them.

"So Kiara?" I question.

"Hates you and most likely will want nothing to do with you" Kaylani tells me.

"Sam?" I ask.

"Oh, she's recent, like four months. She just kind of came one day and never left, also you know Ki's dad has those photos of you two still around her house. Naturally Sam has seen them and she's like mad crushing on you" She tells me.

"Mhm, I'm not going for it she Kiaras friend. That's wrong" I tell her, she just nods.

"And your not going for Kiara either, not after last time. That's wrong." I frown, knowing she's right and that I shouldn't try for a second chance, but knowing how badly I want one.

"How's her family? Her mom?" I question.

"You know about her mom?" Kay questions me.

I nod, "I still follow her on Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter. I know she doesn't follow me or have me added on anything. But everything's public, including her Snapchat story, and she hasn't blocked me yet." I explain.

"She probably doesn't realize. Either that or you're just lucky." She tells me.

"Kiara was the one with the dress on?" Christina ask.

"Here" Kaylani turns around her phone, it's a photo of her and Kiara standing in front of a pool.

"She's gorgeous, are her eyes naturally that cream and blue color?" Christina comments.

"A photo does no justice to them, but yeah, that's her natural eye color." I answer Chris.

"Wow" Tate joins in, "Can we meet her?"

"You and Christina can, we're having a girls day soon. Make sure I get your number before I leave today and I'll text you the details." Kaylani says. Tate nods at her, both her and Christina smiling.

Well this summers about to be an adventure itself.
