Chapter Three: Kiaras POV
"Can you meet me tonight? The darkest hour, at the lake?" I question him, "Come alone" I tell him.

"I'll be there. I promise" He smiles.

"Your promises mean nothing to me Jack, be there" I tell him, getting ready to leave when Kaylani walks up.

"Kiara, hey! How down are you for manicures right now?" She ask me.

"In major need of one. Who all's going?" I ask.

"The two of us, Tate, and Christina." Kaylani smiles.

"Tate and Christina?" I question, "and who are they?"

"Well Christina's my girlfriend, I'm Corbyn, and you are?" A blonde hair boy questions.

"Kiara, Jacks ex, and Kaylani's bestie" I inform him.

"Jacks ex?!" Corbyn looks back and forth between Jack and I. Guess it makes sense that Jack didn't walk around talking about him ex girlfriend.

"Yeah, Whatever Corbyn, no big deal. I have ex's. And if I get my way" he gives Corbyn a look I don't know too well.

"I thought..." Corbyn stops himself, Jack shakes his head, "But I thought..."

"No, Corbyn" Jack emphasizes the word no, making sure Corbyn gets it.

"Anyways..." Kaylani turns to me, "You're down?"

"Hell yeah, you know it." I smile at her.

"Can I come?" Corbyn ask, smiling at Kaylani and I.

"We're getting Mani's" Kaylani tells him.

"I'll get my nails painted" Corbyn shrugs.

"And facials" She adds on.

"I'll do that too" He shrugs again.

Kaylani sighs, looking at me, "What do you think Key?"

"I don't really care for Jack." I start off, but get cut off by Jack.

"Hey! I'm right here!" He glares at me.

"Whatever. As I was saying before interrupted. I don't really care for Jack, so I'm not too sure how I'll feel about his friends. He'll probably be with his girlfriend the whole time anyways. So it's up to you." I answer her.

Again she sighs, looking away from me and at Corbyn. "I guess if you want you can come with us, but you're buying all of us lunch." She tells him.

"Sounds good to me." Corbyn smiles, "Lets get the girls and get going" He turns, walking into the house. Knowing Kaylani and I will follow.
