Okay, so I'm a demigod. I wish I knew which goddess was my mother. I don't really have any special abilities except that I'm good at cleaning. What's so special about cleaning? Oh, and I'm kind of the family mediator. Which goddess has anything to do with that? I guess I may never find out.
I explained all that to Angel, and she told me, "If I didn't know better, I'd say it was Hera, but she doesn't have kids with mortals."
"Yeah, I guess you're right, but didn't she like that old Greek hero Jason who had that ship the Argo?"
"What are you getting at, Jason?"
"Think of my name. Jason Argo."
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean anything."
"Why would my mother not speak up then? Aren't demigods typically claimed by now?"
"Yeah, but it doesn't make any sense. Why would Hera want a child with a mortal?"
"I don't know. Dad's descended from that mortal hero named Jason. I guess that's why our last name is Argo."
"You could be right, but I still doubt it."
"Yeah, I guess you're right, Angel. What about your mom? Isn't she one of the mediators of the gods?"
"Yeah, but she would have claimed you if she was."
"I'm not smart like Athena, nor do I have Demeter's green thumb. Could my mom be a minor goddess?"
"That's our best guess. The question is which one?"
