PBWS2 (COMPLETED)

"You know me better than anyone."

You were out to dinner with your boyfriend John and he had been quiet the whole night. This was your first night out in an entire month and you were happy he was home and that the two of you were spending time together but, questioning why he was so quiet. He was usually very talkative when he was with you. He loved talking about you and asking about your day.

You put your fork down and swallowed the mouthful you had as he smiled at you and raised his glass of wine.

"To beautiful nights and dinners with my gorgeous woman."

You blushed before clinking glasses with him and taking a sip out of your glass.

"You look as beautiful as ever tonight, my love." He said holding out his hand across the table. You reached out for his hand and grasped it, rubbing your thumb on the back of his hand. "There's so many reasons to love you and that's why..." He said rising from his seat, he kept hold of your hand as he asked you to stand too. Next thing you knew he was down on one knee with a ring box open.

"You know me better than anyone. There's no one else I'd rather marry than you, Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N. You're the perfect girl for me. Will you please marry me?"

You nodded happily as a tear rolled down your cheek. He smiled and stood to kiss you before slipping the ring on your finger and shoving the ring box back into his pocket as people around you clapped.

"I love you." He whispered to you before kissing you once again.

"I love you too, John." You smiled.
