It had been a few days since the kiss with Seungcheol, and Jeonghan hadn't seen him around school at all since then. Though he hadn't necessarily gone out looking either. He was playing it safe and just hanging out with Joshua and his friends. They had all become fairly close friends in the time they spent together and Jeonghan was happy that he had found new people he could be close to.

It was currently lunch, the time where they hung out the most, and Jeonghan was sitting next to Joshua like always.

"Hey Jeonghan?"

Jeonghan turned to Joshua with a smile on his face.

"All of us were planning on going to my house tonight to hang out. Do you wanna come?"

"Of course I would."

Jeonghan put his head on Joshua's shoulder, only meaning it as a friendly gesture and not realizing how others viewed the action.

"You guys should just date already." Seungkwan told the boys with a smirk on his face.

Of course neither Jeonghan nor Joshua had told the others about what happened with Seungcheol, so they wouldn't know how much of a tender subject romance is.

Jeonghan tensed on Joshua's shoulder, and then sat up straight once again, filling Joshua with disappointment. Seungkwan hadn't realized he'd struck a nerve so he brushed off the silence as embarrassment.

"Can I go home with you Joshua?"

Jeonghan had a nervous smile on his face as he turned to look at the other boy.

"Well yeah you'll be there later anyways."

"Can I stay the night?"

Joshua tilted his head to the side a bit, watching the blond boys facial expressions closely.

"May I ask why? You seem kinda off-put right now."

"Well.."

Jeonghan reached up and rubbed the back of his neck nervously. The rest of the table was listening intently, besides Soonyoung, who was too busy staring lovingly at Jihoon.

"I skipped school with Seungcheol right after my mom told me not to, and I'm pretty sure she knows by now, and I wanna have one more day of peace before she yells at me again."

Joshua chuckled as did the rest of the table and Jeonghan reddened.

"Oh ok, you can stay at my place then."

"Thanks you're a life saver."

Jeonghan gave Joshua a quick hug and the rest of the table smiled at the action.

"Hey I'll be right back, I need to use the restroom."

The rest of the table nodded absentmindedly as Jeonghan left the table, heading to the bathroom.

He walked the short distance through the halls avoiding bumping into any moody teenagers, he didn't need that right now.

Coming upon the men's restroom he walked in, then seriously contemplated walking right back out again. Seungcheol was standing there with his back against the sharpie covered wall, phone in hand, typical.

Hearing the boy walk in Seungcheol looked up and his expression was unreadable. Jeonghan was about to walk out, deciding to just use the other bathroom on the other side of the school, until he spoke.

"You've been avoiding me."

Obviously.

"And?"

This attitude is new, Jihoon is rubbing off on me.

"Just an observation. May I ask why?"

Jeonghan rolled his eyes, already done with the conversation.

"You know why, Seungcheol."

And in ten seconds flat Jeonghan was pressed against the wall with Seungcheol looming over him.

"Did you not like it?"

Jeonghan flushed and tried his best to stop his stuttering as he answered.

"T-That's not the point."

"Then what is?"

Seungcheols face was dangerously close and Jeonghan was fighting his urge to close the remaining space.

"You s-shouldn't have done t-that when you didn't know my feelings on it."

Jeonghans gaze traveled anywhere but Seungcheols face while the raven haired boy kept his gaze only on the other.

"You don't like me then?"

Jeonghan pressed himself further into the wall as a sad attempt at escape.

"You c-can't just-"

"I can't what? Do this?"

With that the space between them disappeared as their lips met in a kiss that they both so desperately wanted.

Jeonghan turned his head to the side, breaking the kiss and also sending a pang of sadness through Seungcheols heart.

"Why do you keep rejecting it?"

Jeonghan heard the anguish in the others tone and it broke his heart to know that it was his fault.

"I guess I'm just s-scared. I've never done anything like this or been in a situation like this and I j-just don't know what to do."

Jeonghan felt a hand cup his cheek and then his face was brought back to face the attractive boy.

"You don't need to be afraid kid."

Jeonghan let out a heart shattering sob as countless tears streamed down his face. He buried his face into Seungcheols chest and wrapped his arms tightly around the other boy.

Seungcheol timidly returned the hug, cradling the boys head protectively.

"I hated being a-away from you. I just d-didn't know what to do!"

Jeonghans sobs echoed throughout the bathroom and assaulted Seungcheols ears. He cradled the boy tighter, not ever wanting to see him cry ever again.

Seungcheol grabbed the boys shoulders and forced him away from his chest, and stared into his puffy red eyes. Tears still ran down his cheeks, so Seungcheol quickly wiped them away with sleeve.

"I hate to see you cry kid. I haven't liked anyone like this in a while so I'm a bit confused too, but you don't have to worry. You mean a lot to me and I would never hurt you, ok?"

Jeonghan nodded, wiping away a few of his tears on his own.

"Thank you."

Seungcheol smiled and ruffled the boys hair.

"Dry the rest of those tears so you can join your friends again."

"You don't want me to hang out you?"

Seungcheols expression got serious.

"I'm gonna skip again, it's a habit of mine."

"Can't I come with you."

Jeonghan had finally made peace with him again and he didn't want to be away from him anymore.

Seungcheol smiled.

"Your education is more important than mine. It was selfish of me to take you along with me before and I should've been thinking about the consequences you would have. Just go back to your friends so you can get to class on time, I promise I'll see you tomorrow."

Jeonghan didn't feel a need to start an argument, so he nodded and then gave Seungcheol a quick hug before scurrying out of the bathroom.

I feel so happy now.
