Luna POV

I was walking around near the Western border when a messenger came and said that I needed to see my father, Chief of the clan.

I walked back to the dens, taking my time. Selini on my right side, and Rata on my left side. Selini is pure white with ice blue eyes, and purple highlights. Rata is black with deep purple eyes and orange highlights.

As I walked, Selini brushed up against my side, sensing my unease. I put my hand on her head.

I should probably have mentioned that I live with the Wolves. We don't have much land, but we make do. So when I say I was walking near the western border, I was really only walking a couple kilometeres from the western end of the dens.

As I walked to the cave with lots of holes in the walls; The Dens, everywolf kept giving me funny looks.

Yes, I just said 'everywolf'. Simply because everyone here is a wolf. I'm the only human being here.

It is very rare for the Wolves to take in a human, especially a half-breed.

The Wolves aren't demons, they're the ones whom's master has died, they used to belong to the wolf demons.

I made it to the very back, where the council room-thing- is.

I rapped my knuckles on the door three times.

After hearing the 'Enter", which will only sound like growls to any other human, I entered the room, to see eight pairs of eyes on me, The Chief-My father-, His advisor, Rasi -an elder-, Her advisor, Sofos-Another elder-, his advisor, Roz-an elder-, and her advisor.

My wolves are waiting in my den for me, so I'm just... here.

I waved my hand awkwardly, and growled an 'ello.

My fath- the Chief's advisor nudged me over to the open seat between Rasi and Sofos, Roz was at the head of the table, being the oldest elder, with my father at the other end.

Really all the 'table's are is just a slab of rock that's been rounded off so if you accidently walk into it, it wont hurt as bad as a human table.

I tuned out of the conversation of growls and yips, whimpers and such, and focused on my thoughts.

I know the messenger said that chief wanted to see me, but I think he just wanted my presence at the meeting more than anything.

"-'t be Chief! She's a human!" Roz growled out at fa- chief.

"She'd make a great Chief!" he growled right back.

You know what I just realized?

There's more female elders than male. Bwaha! Girl Power!

"Why don't we ask her opinion on the matter?" Rasi -Ever the peacemaker- suggested to chief and Roz in a whimper.

"Yes," they said at the same time, turning their eyes, and attention, to me, "Would you like to become chief?"

My eyes went wide.

WHAT! Me? Chief? "Uhm...." I couldn't continue, my throat was to dry to get out any whimpers or growls... or anything really.

~~~ Third person ~~~
Luna sat there, in total shock as everybody waited for her answer.
"You don't have to decide right now" the chief barked out softly, "We can wait for your answer."
everybody agreed with his statement, and before they can say anything else, Luna abruptly stood up, and walked around the table and left the room. Still looking shocked.
