Chapter 4 - Bridge

Laoshi looked over to those two kids. Both of them still wore the annoyance face, though one of them was as flat as it could be. They were back on back, didn't dare to face each other.

Laoshi sighed, she felt like facing kindergarten kids who were on a fight. "What again this time?"

Xiao Zhan glanced at Laoshi. "He didn't want to call my nickname"

"It's just a nickname"

"Yeah, just a nickname. So why are you going all the way rejected it"

"You are so persistent"

"Of course I do. We are already living together and..."

"Living together doesn't mean that we are close!"

Then everything went silent. Xiao Zhan gasped, shocked and hurt by Wang Yibo's words. He made a disappointed face then stormed outside the room.

Wang Yibo who just realized that he had hurt the latter palmed his mouth.

Laoshi sighed, "Wang Yibo..."

"I know. I'm so stupid"

Xiao Zhan really ignored him for a whole day, he didn't talk even a bit. Laoshi couldn't help either, but she said she would try to talk again with Xiao Zhan later.

Laoshi bid goodbye to Wang Yibo, she couldn't manage it till dinner because she would have a meeting with the staff. The day after tomorrow they would start filming. And tomorrow she had to come with both Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan to pray in the shrine. If by tomorrow they didn't make up what should she said to the Producer, she thought.

'Wait, if Xiao Zhan insisted Wang Yibo to call him by his name...doesn't it mean he also wants to be close to him?' Laoshi muffled her laugh. If that was the case then she didn't need to worry too much. They were too interesting tbh.

Meanwhile in the other universe...Wang Yibo sighed, he was thinking actually Xiao Zhan was also right. Without him realized, so many things happen that made them grew closer. He was happy with Xiao Zhan as his housemate. Why he couldn't call him by name already.

He walked passed the kitchen and found Xiao Zhan was there with his rabbit apron, opened the refrigerator. Even he was angry he still did his duty to cook. Wang Yibo felt his heart moved a little, but he was still confused how to start the conversation. So he just stood there watching him.

Just when he was about to come closer, the bell door's ringing. While he was hesitating whether he came to Xiao Zhan first or got whoever the guest, the bell rang again. This time Xiao Zhan also noticed the ringing bell, he turned his head and their eyes met.

Wang Yibo clicked his tongue then walked away. He thought maybe Laoshi's leaving something behind.

He opened the door then met the unexpected guest.

"Ck...why this bastard"

Wang Yibo clearly heard him cursed.

"The hell you say? What are you doing here?"

"Where's Zhan-zhan?"

'Zhan-zhan?' Wang Yibo didn't like the way this guy addressed his Xiao Zhan.

"He isn't here. Go away"

"Do you think you can fool me?! ZHAN-ZHAAAN!!!!" he shouted.

"I SAID HE IS NOT HERE!"

Xiao Zhan was supposed to have his 'cooking time' when he heard some ruckus from the front door. His mood suddenly changed when he saw his bandmate.
