I am writing to provide a character reference for Miss Lucy Reid.
Miss Reid was employed as my personal maid for a period of four years. Her employment ceased when Miss Reid informed me that she wished to seek alternative career opportunities. I was very distressed to see Miss Reid leave our household, as she is an entertaining and multi-faceted character. However, I am aware that Miss Reid has diverse career development needs that may be better met elsewhere.
Miss Reid's duties were many and varied. These included: general cleaning and other household chores, laying out my clothes, assisting with my dressing, attending to my private needs and helping to entertain guests at our country residence. Miss Reid has a range of useful talents, including incredible oral aptitude, and the ability to be very flexible in meeting the needs and demands of both myself and my guests.
Miss Reid will be much missed by my husband and I, other members of staff and our guests, with whom she frequently formed very close attachments.
In character, Miss Reid is gregarious, extremely likeable, approachable, personable and accomplished in many areas. She is professional in nature and I wholeheartedly recommend her to potential employers. She will be missed by all at Crumpet Lodge.
