y/n's pov
we went out for breakfast.
as we were eating, jungkook kept clinging on to me as if i was gonna leave him.
an hour passed and everyone was talking and laughing. i couldn't really enjoy the food and the chatting because my head was hurting.
my vision was getting blurry.
i tried getting up to go to the restroom to wash my face but after standing up, i just completely collapsed and everything went black.
jungkook's pov
y/n fainted.
i panicked and shouted at my hyungs "GET THE CAR NOW!"
i picked her up and ran to the car.
jimin drove as fast as he can.
we arrived at the hospital and brought y/n to the emergency room.
the doctor asked me to come outside. he needed to tell me something important.
doc: y/n is very sick. and i'm sorry to tell you that she only has roughly 10 days left to live.
my heart stopped beating.
i couldnt function properly.
i couldn't hear anything else the doctor said.
tears were unconsciously falling. i don't want to lose her.
after a few hours, she woke up. when she heard the news, she remained calm. i was confused.
she told me this wasn't so unexpected and that she was sickly and weak since she was born. that's why her parents gave her up for adoption. she told me that jimin said they didn't have enough money to take care of her. then after a few years she became healthy. Just as healthy as any other kid her age should be. she just got incredibly sick again now and we found out too late.
i couldn't stop crying.
y/n tried to comfort me but when she hugged me, i just cried more.
on the way home, y/n said, in a very stern voice, to all of us "let's just enjoy the last few days. i don't want to see anyone crying. understood?" and we all nodded.
i calmed down a bit and brought her flowers the next day.
she put them on a vase. it was very hard trying not to cry but i wanted to grant her request.
she hugged me tightly and when i looked at the flowers i noticed there were 10.
i suddenly thought of something...
