Chapter 6

Her eyes are grey
Sasuke's POV
I watched as Gaara threw sand at Mika. I made a move to stop it but it was too late. The sand hit her with such force that it cracked the tree it slammed her into.
She let out a blood curdling as I screamed, "MIKA NOOO!!!"
Her head fell forward and I knew she passed out. I turned to Gaara who looked sad at seeing her like that.
"LOOK AT WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!?!" I screamed at Gaara.
"WHAT I'VE DONE?!?! SHE CHOSE YOU OVER ME?!?!" He screamed back. "I WOULD HAVE NEVER DONE THAT IF SHE WOULD HAVE JUST BELIEVED ME!!!"
I didn't believe him though. I mean who could, he's been using my sister for the past month and a half.

Time-Skip
Third-Person POV
After Naruto beat some sense into Gaara Sasuke came over carrying a broken looking girl. Anyone could tell one of her arms was broken and her left leg too. She had bruises on her pale face and she looked dead. Gaara stared at her with pain in his eyes. He had done that the only person who believed in him. Yes she chose her brother but she didn't know the full story.
"Sasuke," Gaara said as he was picking up Naruto.
Sasuke stopped and looked at him.
"Tell Mika that I'm sorry and that I never used her. I truly did feel something for her and I still do," He said.
"I will," Sasuke said and he meant it.
All he wanted was his sister to be happy.

Time-Skip
Sasuke's POV
It's been a week since everything happened and Mika is still in a coma. Naruto has left with some old man to find the next Hokage since Lord Third was killed by Orochimaru. Kakashi has been worrying about Mika ever since he found out what happened to her. Gaara hasn't been seen nor has his siblings. I've been thinking of what he said. He said that he likes her a lot but he slammed her into a tree. What is wrong with that guy. Right now I'm sitting with Mika as the doctors did a check up.
"Sasuke I'm sorry but her heartbeat is slowing down," The doctor began. "Also she lost a lot of blood and for some reason her heart isn't giving enough blood for her body to function."
"What does that mean?" I asked.
"It means that your sister is going to die if we don't find someone who can fix her heart. It's like her heart was broken and it doesn't want to work anymore. We need Lady Tsuande. She's the only person who will be able to fix her. Mika only has 3 days," He told me. "I'm sorry."
(Damn it Gaara look at whatca ya did)
He walked out of the room. I was devastated to hear that. No one knows where Lady Tsuande is. I got up and moved some hair out of Mika's face before going to find Kakashi. I've been walking for about 10 minutes before I finally found him.
"Sensei," I called out.
"Sasuke what's wrong? What happened?" He asked.
He was worried.
"It's Mika, the doctors said that her heart's failing and that only Lady Tsuande can fix it. She only has 3 days to live," I said.
"Well well if it isn't my baby brother and my old captain," A voice said.
We turned and saw Itachi.
"But where's little Mika?" He asked.
"She's in a coma. Her hearts failing," I hissed at him.
A little emotion appeared on his face.
"That's too bad I actually care for her," He said before disappearing.

Third-Person POV
A shadow was in the corner of Mika's room. A tall shadow. It got closer to Mika and laid a hand on her face.
"Don't worry baby sister, you will be alright, I promise," The tall figure said.
It stared down at her with love in its eyes. That's the most emotion it has shown in years. Of course anyone who meets Mika will show emotion. She's hard to not show emotion to. The figure heard the door knob turn so it disappeared into ravens as the door opened. In walked in a woman with long blonde hair, Sasuke, and Naruto.
"Here she is Granny Tsuande. Can you help her?" Naruto asked loudly.
"Please Lady Tsuande, she's the only family I have left," Sasuke pleaded.
"I'll try my best boys but you two need to leave," She said.
The Kakashi popped in.
"You heard her, she needs room to work on Mika," He said.
He grabbed the boys and pulled them out if the room closing the door. The three of them stood in the Hall anxiously waiting for Tsuande to get done.
As Tsuande got to work she noticed how beautiful the young girl was. Her skin was flawless and her hair as dark as midnight. She could only imagine what her eyes looked like. She could see how much those three cared for this one girl. As she started working the heart monitor went off. Mika's heart stopped.

Kakashi's POV
We all heard the heart monitor let out a long beep and our hearts dropped. Sasuke fell to the floor and for the first since I met him he cried. Naruto was hitting the wall and crying at the same time. I was trying so hard not to cry.
"Kakashi, it's okay to cry around comrades especially if it's over a comrade," A voice said.
It was Gai. Tears started falling and I wept along with my students.

Third-Person POV
The tall figure watched as Mika's heart monitor stopped. His heart broke like everyone else. He watched as Tsuande worked faster to get it going again when the sound stopped. There was gentle beeps to a perfect sounding heart coming from Mika's room. Tsuande saved her life.
