Goodbye To A World On Fire

The date is 3/9/4020. Today, is the end of the world. The WCGA (worlds collective government association) has decided that Earth is unfit for humans to live on anymore. We have sucked the planet dry of all its natural resources. A select few of 7,000 families have been chosen to re-populate a new planet.

The rest of the human population is to stay on the planet and burn with the planet. All animal and plant life has been completely erraticated, so its only us left...

My family and i look up and watched as the last Ark ship left the atmosphere... that was it... the bombs would go off soon... i looked to my father for help, but he had the same look as everyone else. He had already given up and accepted that he was dead.

I felt somesomething wet fall onto my face, so i went to wipe it away... i was... crying..? I rushed inside of our house and went to the mirror we had in the hallway just next to the front door. It wasn't tears that were falling from my eyes... it was blood.

They weren't going to explode  the world like they said they would! They were going to poison us! I quickly ran into the kitchen and got on my knees, ripping the cabinet under the sink open.

It took a while but i finally  grabbed the gass masks my family kept around just for this exact thing. I quickly put mine on and then ran outside to help my family and anyone else that i could spare.

When i ran outside, allmost all of them were already dead...

Tears began to fall down my face as i quickly put masks on the ones still alive. My little brother was able to survive... and my neighbors daughter...

We looked around and saw as people fell, blood pouring from their eyes and noses right before they died...

We were alone...

This is the one things I've  written in about 2 years. I hope its okay... i really like this idea but i'm not sure if i want to make a book about it. If i did, i wouldn't know how. All criticism is welcome.
