Chapter 5

Chloe's POV☯

Carter was famous on vine just like Matthew and they were both waiting for their invitation to Magcon. There was only one other spot and both the boys wanted it really bad. Whoever got the invitation first, was aloud to fly to la and be apart of Magcon.

We walked past him into the school as a cheered mean words at me. I just ignored him and clung to Matthews side. He walked me to my first class, and then made his way to his. Everything was basically normal.

Matthews POV✪

I felt really bad that Chloe knew that all those people really hated her. They were just jealous that she was gorgeous, and smart, and everything they weren't. I walked her to her class, and then walked to mine.

After school, I decided to go over to Chloe's house. We went up to her room and just talked, and then started our homework.

I had to find out a way to ask her out. I really wanted too. I've wanted too for a long time, but she wasn't going anywhere. Why not take it slow. I was thinking I could take her to the old amusement park. It wasn't open anymore, but the Ferris wheel still worked. I knew how to get it started.

"Chloe." I said.

She stopped doing her math and looked up at me. "What babe."

"Well I was just wondering...." I said.

She sat up and looked at me.

"Do you want to go on a date with me to the old amusement park tomorrow night?" I mustered out of my mouth.

She blushed and then finally said yes.

My phone buzzed and it was my mom. She texted and told me I needed to come home.

"I have to go babe." I said standing up.

"Ok bye" she said hugging me.

I kissed her on the forehead and let myself out. I got in my car and drove home. I was thinking so hard about asking her to be my girlfriend. I don't know why I found this so hard.

I finally pulled into the driveway, got out of my car, and walked in to my house.

All the lights were off. I flicked the big light on to find my dad, mom, and little sister Brenda standing there with a white slip of paper in there hands.

SURPRISE! They all yelled.

"Guys! What is this!" I said grabbing the paper out of there hands.

"Matthew, hon, you got the last spot to Magcon!" She said.

"AHHHHHH!" I screamed. "OH MY GOSH!" I was so excited.

Eventually it was time to go to bed. I couldn't even sleep because I was so excited.

The only problem was the letter said I had to be on a plane to la on Saturday.

It was Monday night.

I was either going to have to leave Chloe, or figure out a way to take her with me.

*THE NEXT DAY*

(Still Matthews POV)

I woke up, got ready, and went to school.

As I was walking in, Carter was standing there. The first thing he did was make fun of my outfit, and say mean things about Chloe.

"That's funny that you say that Carter, have you heard anything from Magcon yet?" I grinned.

"Uhhhh, ummmm no." He said blushing

"Oh that's funny, because last night I received a letter from Magcon saying I had to be on a plane to LA by Saturday."

Carters face dropped. He just walked away from everyone.

I smiled and walked to my first class. I hadn't seen Chloe all day but she texted me she was gonna be a little late.

I can't wait for tonite.
