Melody woke up to be greeted with a sight of white substance on the ground. "Hu-huh?" Melody pushes herself up and glanced around. It was night time, the moon was up and the sky was dark. Melody shakes her head and saw that the white stuff she saw fell from her head. Melody thought that the white stuff was snow. Her hand glided over the substance to examine it. But the moment she touched it, it didn't feel cold nor solid. It just felt warm and she realizes that it was powder.

She rmoved her hands. It was not powder, it was ashes. Millions and millions of ashes. Melody looked around and saw mounds of it. The moonligt reflected on the substance, making it almost blind. Melody was glad that she did not lied on her front or her back, for she would not know what would happen if she inhaled those ashes. Melody stands up. Her clothes are now turned into rags. It was pretty, but now it was covered in ashes and dirt. Melody looks at her bare surroundings. She could not find a fairy tail member in sight.

Where are they? Surely they survived. She thought. With her very own eyes she saw. A powerful spell has swept over them. The magic was dark, it was nothing that Melody have ever felt before. She saw her mother fighting against many enemies, but none are a match for this spell range. It was powerful... and it was scary.

Melody trotted forward in determination to find the others. She knew they were alive. Because otherwise, they wouldn't be Fairy Tail for nothing. How strange for Melody to think this when she was not a part of fairy tail. Melody sighed. Enough, I need to find them.

Hisui glares at the dungeon doors. Its tall and royal frames reminds her of that day. She looks around at her surroundings; studying every details and analyze it. The same huge cave she has once put Fairy Tail in. The rough rocks surrounds her and her people. The air seemed to be tainted in a ugly green color and smelled of pond water. The huge stalactite and stalagmites are stil secured, but Hisui does not know if its safe. It is sold rock they are in but it still too dangerous.

"My queen." Hisui turns to face an old man, her supervisor. "It seems the magic is diminished." Hisui nods. Indeed, she could not feel the presence of the black magic anymore. "It is as you said, Garfield. The magic has indeed diminished." Queen Hisui turns to her people and sees them gathered around, sharing rations and calming down children. Mages of all sorts were using their power to help and some officers were standing gaurd. But what Hisui could not see were Fairy Tail.

Her hear was tugged. She could not bear the thought of them gone. They are Fairy Tail. So obviously they are still alive, that is the only thing predictable about them. "My queen. Fairy Tail-" Hisui shook her head. "They're not dead, Garfield." She said. She's sure of it. Hisui turns to her people knowing that they share the same thought.

"My queen." SHe shakes her head again. "They're not dead, Garfield," Hisui smiles at him. "because they're Fairy Tail."

When the two figures have disappeared, Happy let out a breath of relief. They've been sticking around for over 3 hourse, triumphing over their 'victory'. Happy rolls his eyes. He saved an entire nation from having war with the Land of the Elements and he didn't triumph for that long. He celebrated for 3 whole days! Happy shakes his head, knowing that he was turning competitive again.

His wounds have grown numb, so he was not in a lot of pain like before. But he knew that he was still losing blood. Happy could not use his magic. Even he, a great knight, can not use magic with a wound this deep. Happy takes in a deep breath and laid his head back down. He knew that he had to wait for someone. He chuckled quietly. He has not depend on anyone for a long time.

Ever since that incident, he somehow knew he had to protect Lucy. And he could not depend on anyone ever again. He knew that he had only himself and Lucy. He only knew that he has to get stronger. So that he did. And he did this for a whole year. Until he came.

Happy close his eyes as an image appeared into his mind. There was a guy... with long white hair, a sharp edged face, straight nose, and blue eyes. He was what someone consider 'mature' and 'handsome'. Perhaps even 'cute'. Happy's heart aches a bit.

He remembers a time when they used to hang out at the beach, bro fisting and making jokes. They would whistle at girls an even wink at them. Of course, they both ended up having their whole body 3 feet under ground because of a certain 20 year old blondie. They were a team before Melody came in. They became a family.

Their kitchen were always filled with sweet smelling home cooked meals. Their living room were always filled with laughter. And their dining room were always filled with chit chats, jokes, and smiles. Happy could always remember those happy times.

His happiest moments.

Lucy's happiest moments.

His best friend and Lucy's husband.

The father of Melody, and soon his brother.

Happy smiles as he remebers his brother and the light of Lucy and his life, Hikari Tsubaki.
