Taylor was minding her business, doing her English homework in peace. She was sat in her desk, comfortably scribbling down words for her essay due tomorrow morning. She tapped her feet on the hardwood floor to the beat of Just A Dream by Nelly.

She heard obnoxious yelling and laughter from outside, she lowered the sound of her speaker and peeked outside her bedroom window in curiosity.

There were a bunch of varsity kids, cheerleaders, populars—y’know, the whole bunch, simply hanging out at her neighbour’s backyard. Taylor’s eyes immediately searched for Karlie, in whom she developed a little obsession on.

Who is Karlie? Karlie is the girl next door. She’s cheer captain and dating the school’s quarterback, Joshua Kushner. She’s Florida High’s Golden Girl with a place on the Honor Roll. She also models in her free time. Taylor loves the way she looked like in her tiny cheerleading outfit with a skirt so dangerously short. It showcased her never-ending long legs.

It wasn’t a secret that she has a crush on Karlie, in fact, the whole school knows. She’s known as the lesbian who has an unhealthy obsession with Karlie Kloss, and she doesn’t really mind since it’s the truth. She’s never bullied, though. She’s good acquaintances with a good amount of people in her high school and she’s probably helped everyone there with their homework.

Taylor let her stare linger at Karlie, her platinum blonde hair put up in a messy high ponytail as she laughed about something a boy in a football jersey said. She looked mesmerizing, Taylor couldn’t keep her eyes off of her. Her smile reminded Taylor of sunshine, it gives Taylor warmth from the insides of her body to every inch of Taylor’s pale skin.

Karlie’s green eyes found hers, a long distance between them since Taylor was watching the little popular kids’ get-together (that Karlie threw in her parent’s backyard), standing near the window.

Karlie’s smile widened before waving at Taylor. Taylor couldn’t help but blush at Karlie’s antics, Taylor gave Karlie a shy wave and a tight-lipped smile before turning her heel to face her desk once again.

Karlie Kloss smiled AND waved at me...again! She did it last week on Thursday when she saw me in line at the cafeteria, then on Friday when we both arrived home at the same time, then today.

Taylor furiously blushed at what just happened. She grinned to herself and placed her hands on her face as she squealed in result of the butterflies in her stomach.

“Hey, Candace!” called Karlie.

“Yeah, babe?” the stunning blonde turned around to the voice of Karlie’s voice.

“You know Taylor, right?”

“Hill?” asked Candace, taking a sip of her beverage.

“Swift.”

“Oh, yeah! The one that has a crush on you.” said Candace, “Why?”

Karlie rolled her eyes, Taylor was more than the ‘lesbian who has an obsession with Karlie Kloss,’ she just hoped everyone else could see that.

“Well, I saw her staring here through her bedroom window earlier. I’m thinking of inviting her since it’s kind of rude not to since she saw us having fun. And also, it seemed as if she wanted to join.”

“I’ll go with you to invite her over if that’s what you mean.” said Candace.

“Thanks, Candace! You’re the best!” exclaimed Karlie as she threw her arms around the blue-eyed girl, who rolled her eyes and laughed at her friend’s antics.
