Shadow's POV
Sonic is kissing me! What do I do? Kiss back, pull away?
I kissed Sonic back as he wrapped arms around my neck, the kiss lasted for a minute and the we slowly pulled away.
"Shadow..." Sonic whispered quietly "I-I love you." He laid blushing his face was so red. Cute. He looked away slowly "if my parents knew, they'd disown me" Sonic said softly,tears in my eyes.

I gently turned his face towards mine "it's okay Sonic, I love you to, and if your parents disown you, then you can live with me."
His face lit up "really?" He looked at me, emerald eyes sparkling. "Positive" I replied softly I chuckled softly
Sonic's POV
"So, does this mean we're, a thing?" I looked down shyly not wanting to face shadow, it made me too flustered.
"If that's what you want us to be, because that's what I want" Shadow replied lifting my chin up so I could look into his ruby eyes. "I want to be" I replied playing with my fingers
"Well that settles it! We're now together!" Shadow exclaimed "I just want to apologise ahead of time if I do something wrong"I said looking away again "I've never had a boyfriend before"
"Well neither have I "Shadow confessed "so it'll be a new adventure for the both of us" Shadow smiled "that's great!" I beamed engulfing Shadow into a hug.
"Please keep this a secret from anyone at school or my parents" I asked getting serious again "I promise" Shadow said grabbing me tightly
"That's great" I replied looking at the time "I have to go now, or else my parents will get mad" I told Shadow pulling away from Shadow's embrace "hang on ewe never exchanged numbers" Shadow said. I quickly wrote my number on a slip of paper and gave it to Shadow. "Text me!" I called while running away happily
Time skip
I entered my house and my mother greeted me with open arms "welcome home Sonic, how was your day" mom isn't really that much against gayness but dad makes her hate them. But she's still very nice to me at times, something smothering.
"Hey Mom" I replied hugging her back "soo~ how was your day?" 'She wants something' I think to myself "why do you want mom?" She giggles nervously and looks at me "well I saw you diary today and want to know something."
Oh no. My eyes go wide as I look at my mother "you think we hate you?" She asked looking at me with a bit of sadness in her eyes "I only want to protect you, that's all Sonic!" She cried "I just don't want you to make the same mistake I did"
"Mom?" I looked at her "what do you mean?" She looked away "oh nothing, sorry to bother you". I frowned I've never seen mom cry before "mom" I said before she walked away "please don't worry about me sweety" she smiled "now please, go about your day" she walk away smiling softly
"What's wrong with my mother?"
