Amy Pond lay in her death bed, slowly breathing. She looked at her only granddaughter, who was still very young, sitting right beside her.
"Now you, Naomi Ainsley, are gonna be a tough girl. Your going to see planets out of this world. I just know it," Amy said grabbing her granddaughter's hand. "Your gonna be Naomi Ainsley, the granddaughter of Amelia Pond. Be proud of that, okay?"
"I promise. I will travel all over the universe and time just like you!" Naomi smiled.
"Yes. Yes you are. And what did I tell you to do?"
"You yell out 'DOCTOR'!"
"Naomi that's enough. Grandma is tired and needs rest," Naomi's father whispered at the doorway.
"But dad-"
"Naomi. Now."
Naomi stood up and waved good bye to her grandmother. Amy smiled, waving back, though groaned putting her hand down beside her. David coming in, stood by her bed and sighed.
"You can't just tell her this nonsense," He said solemnly as Naomi listened at the door. "Especially when your about to-"
"David. I've have lived a long life. And if I can truly say one thing before I die. Is that, the Doctor is real," Amy said seriously. "I know I sound daft but...but he has given your father-in-law and I a life we would always want to relive."
David stayed silent and nodded obediently.
"So don't you ever stop talking about the Doctor in front of Naomi. Please just do that."
He nodded.
"Okay. I promise."
Amy smiled. Staring up to the ceiling above her, she whispered one last thing before her very last breath.
"Raggedy man. Goodnight."

"And today. We commemorate Amelia Jessica Williams on how she was the best mother..."
Naomi sat there patiently watching everyone look into space or crying.
"...The best wife and the best friend..."
Everyone was here. Her father, her uncle, aunt and grandma's friends. But...there was someone missing.
"And I felt as if someone was missing. Then I thought and thought and thought. Something old, something new, something ancient, something blue. My Doctor. My Doctor, was not here. And I slammed my hands on the table and yelled 'Raggedy man, I remember you. AND YOU ARE LATE FOR MY WEDDING'!" Naomi thought as she remembered her grandmother saying that to her.
She looked around for a raggedy looking man, but everyone seemed fit for the event. Turning to her dad, she whispered quietly.
"Dad. I think there's someone we forgot to invite."
David looked at her like we was absolutely mad.
"Who is it?"
"The Doctor."
David sighed and just continued to listen. Though, Naomi continued to look around. As she did, something caught her eye. A tall blue box, parked far away from all of them. And standing near it was a man and a girl watching them.
But the man looked old. He had grey hair and a long dress suit that was red on the inside and black on the outside. Not like the young fellow grandma described.
"But he can change his face," She remembered Amy saying. "So when it seems like you just can't recognise him, just remember that little blue box of his."
Hesitating, Naomi jumped from her seat and ran.
"Naomi!" David said surprised.
The Doctor looked up and saw a little girl heading towards him and Clara. She looking about seven and was running as fast as her little legs could take her.
"Doctor!" She yelled.
The Doctor had seen a man running after her, calling her name. Turning around he quickly made his way back to the Tardis.
"Doctor, where are you goin'?" Clara asked following him at his heels.
"Back into the Tardis. That girl. She can't. She just can't."
They both walked into the Tardis with the Doctor rushing and pacing around. Clara came up to him in confusion.
"She can't what?" She asked looking at him oddly.
"She just can't."
There was a long silent between them.
"That girl...Her name was Naomi," Clara said out of the blue.
"Ya, so what?" The Doctor quickly said obviously annoyed.
"I have a student. Her names Naomi too. I remember her taking in this photo of when she was little," She leaned back on the console and sighed. "And it looked a lot like that little girl we just saw."
"Okay, so it was her! Who cares?!"
"You do. You said that was a funeral of your old companion...Why would Naomi be there?"
The Doctor paused and thought for a while. Slamming his hands on the console, Clara jumped back in surprise.
"Oh I don't know! Maybe she's a relative or something!" The Doctor frustratedly shouted.
Calmy, she came up to him and looked him in the eye.
"And is something wrong with that?"
Turning to her, he whispered something very quietly. As if the Doctor didn't want the Tardis to hear.
"She called me Doctor. She called me Doctor."
He took a deep breath.
"She knows."
