IF a flower could express what minho had found through jisung, it would be one of rather orthodox meaning.
daisies represented innocence, true love, purity, and new beginnings. if he had said he wanted to feel all of those, he would've been reaching for something that was not there.
he realized that daisies consisted of petals, each petal being innocence, or true love, or purity, or new beginnings. he couldn't choose multiple petals, so he chose the petal that would make him better.
realizing that jisung was nothing but a casual high school crush was the first step for minho. he knew that jisung was now, yes, and maybe he would be later, but he couldn't affect minho in such ways that changed him as a person.
he finished the script for the play with jisung and remained a mutual causality between the two boys, or a mutual understanding of mistakes and solutions.
next, he came to terms with his future. to major in visual arts and get a steady, stable job; to not dwell on the past but instead to learn from it; to take his passions and use them to not fall into such a state of blandness.
he knew where he would end up. he knew that jisung would never remain and that maybe neither would himself. it was simply inevitable: change.
minho strode for a new beginning. he fought for his own peace, argued for mutuality, starved for the fullness of life. he risked his everything for better things, and though he lost what he cared for, he remained lee minho, the plucked daisy.
