My phone buzzes and I turn on the screen. It reads "you have 1 new message from KawaiiNeko547!" I bounce excitedly and lay on my bed to check the notification. I click the conversation between me and KawaiiNeko547 and read the new message

KawaiiNeko547: Hiya! What's up?
Haru-Chan36: Hey. Not much, hbu?
KawaiiNeko547: hm, just thinking.
Haru-Chan36: 'bout what?
KawaiiNeko547: Well, it's been almost 4 months since we started talking and we know eachother's name, age and have exchanged pictures....so I was thinking maybe we could call?
Haru-Chan36: hm ok but video or just voice?
KawaiiNeko547: would video be alright?
Haru-Chan36: Sure! Hold on a minute.

I take a few breaths and nervously press the small video camera symbol at the top of my screen. I'm excited, but also I bit anxious because there's something I've been meaning to tell her for a while. As I'm waiting for her to answer, I use my phone screen to make sure my hair is alright. It rings a few more times and her face appears on the screen "H-hi Haru!" Her voice is sweet, along with her appearance. She has long, black hair, beautiful, blue eyes and a perfect, smooth face. "Wow.... You're even more beautiful than in the pictures" she blushes and smiles "so are you" I smile back at her and nod "thanks"
"Uhm...H-haru?"
"Yeah, Rubi?"
"Can I tell you something?"
"Yeah, sure, I'm all ears" I nod slightly. "I, Uhm, you know what? Nevermind, it's silly" She looks at the ground nervously and blushes "I think I know what you're going to say" at least I hope I do. "Y-you do?" I nod and blush lightly "Yes.... Can I say something first?"
"S-sure" She smiles nervously. My heart races and I tap on the back of my phone nervously. I hope it's not too soon to say this. I take a deep breath "Rubi, I................... I love you." She gasps and puts both of her hands over her mouth as she blushes just about every shade of red imaginable. "B-but"
"I know. I've never met you in person, and I've never had the chance to hold you, but I love everything about you. Your personality, you're beauty, everything. I might be rushing into it, but right now you're the only thing on my mind."
"Haru..... I love you too. For all the same reasons" I start smiling like a fool and blushing just about as much as she is. "Listen, I'm gonna go now ok? We can still text but my parents are going to be home soon" she nods "okay... Talk to you in a minute" I nod back and press the button to hang up then sit up on my bed, still smiling from ear to ear. My phone buzzes and I open up the new message from Rubi

KawaiiNeko547: Hey, I gotta go to bed but..... Could I have your address so maybe I could meet you sometime?
Haru-Chan36: Sure. It's 756 Juniper street, Tokyo, Japan.
KawaiiNeko547: Thanks, Haru. Goodnight..... I love you ❤️
Haru-Chan36: I love you too

I turn my phone off and lay down again, thinking quietly to myself. I love that girl, with all my heart, and I don't think anything will change that.

After that day, I never heard from her again.
