Love Never Fails

  Alex helps me finish packing my things. My mom just watches in distraught. She is afraid of loosing her little girl to quickly. Tears still streaming down me and my mom's face, Alex comforts the both of us.  We finish packing. Alex grabs my suitcase and goes down stairs to the car.

Mom: Promise me you'll visit. Call me when you get there and every single day.

Y/N: *Sniffles* Promise.

  We hook our pinkies together. My mom walks me downstairs and stops me at the door. She took off a very cherishable necklace. She opens my hand and puts the necklace into it. Closing my hand afterwards.

Mom: Keep this so you can remember me. Wear it everywhere you go because it is a symbol of good luck and love. May the best of you strive and continue going to school for your dream. I love you so much Y/N.

Y/N: I love you too mom thank you.

  I look up at her and tears begin pouring out. I hug my mom one more time before saying goodbye. Alex walks in and looks at my mom.

Mom: Take good care of her please. Don't let nothing happen to her.

Alex: You have my word Ms.Amanda.

  I walk away while looking at the floor. My mom waits outside with her arms crossed. I get into the car. As Alex starts it I look out of the window and put my pinkie up. My mom does the same. That's the last time I saw my mom and off we go to California.

Alex: I know your sad baby.

Y/N: It's okay. I'll be able to visit.

  I say as I look at my hand.

Alex: She gave you her necklace didn't she?

Y/N: Yeah.

Alex: Here, you probably haven't ate all day so how about I get you some food.

Y/N: Please and thank you.

Alex: Where do you wanna go?

Y/N: Let's go to um McDonald's. That's where we had our first date.

Alex: Awe you remembered.

Y/N: *Snickers* Yeah duh.

Alex: I love you.

Y/N: I love you too baby.

  He continues driving until we pull up at McDonald's. I figured since there was a store right by we could get food for the trip. All of a sudden I hear a slight bark.

Y/N: What was that?

Alex: Look in the back.

Y/N: Oh my gosh! It's my baby Blesiv! I missed you. Come here boy.

  Blesiv jumps on my lap and licks me up and down on my face. I giggle while petting Blesiv.

Y/N: Thank you Alex.

Alex: Its are dog I couldn't leave him behind. Now come on let's go get food.

Y/N: Okay. Blesiv sit.

  Blesiv sits down on my seat. I get out of the car and follow Alex into the restaurant.  He tells me to go sit down so he can order what I wanted. Which was two egg sausage mcmuffins with a large fry and a medium mocha frappe. I wait at the table that I chose for me and Alex to sit at. I notice there is a group of girls dog facing me. I didn't want to get into another fight so I bit my tounge. Alex comes back with our food a moment later.

Alex: Here you go baby.

  He kisses my forehead.

Alex: I noticed the girls to just ignore them. Only fight back when they touch you okay. Or when you feel threatened.

Y/N: Okay. Thanks.

Alex: Don't thank me the food is to make you feel better. Anything to make you happy. I'll be back in gonna go order something because I forgot to.

Y/N: Alright.

  Alex leaves once again. I look at the girls and they are walking my way. I just sip on my coffee minding my own business.

Girl: Would you look at her. *laughs* The dumb snotty bitch.

Y/N: Just leave me alone alright

Girl: What now your a pussy? Eh that's nothing new.

Girl #2: Look at you. Your pathetic. Alex doesn't want you a whore like you.

  I look back and Alex just walked into the bathroom.

Y/N: Keep it up and see what happens.

Girl: Oh I'm so scared.

  I stood up. Viciously looking at them. My fist is balled up and I'm just waiting for the girl to touch me. The girl was a lot bigger then me. She was chunky and she looked like she had to much cake to eat. Which means this was gonna be a hard fight.

Girl: Lets see how fragile you are.

  The girl pushed me on my shoulder and my fist swung at her face. She managed to dodge it and hit me back. She pulled my hair but I didn't give up. I used a technique that Alex showed me. I slightly kicked the back of her knee. That instantly made her fall. She let go of my hair and I got on top of her.

Y/N: Stupid ass bitch.

  I hold her down by her hair. Throwing one punch at a time. As she struggle to get out of my grip. No one seems to care, they let me do so. Nobody was in the restaurant besides the workers, me and Alex, and the girls.

Girl #3: Get off of her.

  That's when I blacked out again. I loose control and Alex has to pull me back. The girl starts bleeding. Alex can't pull me off until I knocked her out.

Alex: Baby let go!

I can't say anything but as soon as he said that I let go and started crying. My mom's necklace still on my neck I look up at Alex.

Alex: Aye! Can we get someone over here to clean this up?

  The girls rush to help her as well as the workers.

Worker: Your girl is a fighter, keep her and go get her cleaned up. I'll have somebody make a fresh batch of food and send you guys on your way.

Alex: Thank you sir.

  Alex guides me to the women's bathroom. He helps me wash my hands and wipes off the blood on my face.

Alex: Babygirl. Are you okay?

Y/N: Yes. She pushed me.

Alex: It's okay baby.

  My hands are shaky. After we get cleaned up. We grab our food that they freshly made and walk out of the mcodnalds.

Alex: Here let me open the door for you.

  I get into the car after Alex shuts the car door. Blesiv looks hungry so I feed him my fries.

Y/N: Why do we have a happy meal?

Alex: It's for you just in case you want more food.

Y/N: Thanks. *smiles* Can we go to the store so we can get food for on the road.

Alex: Yeah.
