7- Getting Ready For The Birthday Party

2 weeks later

I woke up because of my phone.  Lilia was calling me:

Lilia: GOOD MORNING!
Maddie: It's not even morning Lilia!
Lilia: Oh...
Maddie: What happened?
Lilia: So you know tomorrow is Dylan and Cole's birthday and...
Maddie: And?
Lilia: I'm making a surprise party and I want to you to do me a favor.
Maddie: Cool, I'm listening.
Lilia: So you are gonna take them out and spend some time until 2 p.m. Then you are gonna act like your friend from work wanted something from you and you have to get it from the house. You are gonna take them here and we are gonna surprise them!!
Maddie: Cool! Can Shawn come with us?
Lilia: No he can't because he's gonna help me and it would look different if he could come.
Maddie: Okay! See you later!
Lilia: BYEE!!!

I went downstairs to find Dylan and Cole

Maddie: Hi bros!
Dylan: Good morning sunshine!
Cole: Morning angel!
Maddie: So tomorrow is your birthday!
Dylan: Yes it is?
Maddie: And I wanna spend some time with you! Is it okay?
Cole: Of course it is. What time are we gonna go outside?
Maddie: Umm... 11 a.m?
Dylan: Okay!
Maddie: Okay bye!
Dylan: Bye!
Cole: See you around!
I went back to my room and texted to Lilia.

Maddie: Plan is done.
Lilia: Cool. Thanks Mads!
Maddie: Np!

Next day...

Maddie: Are you ready for the hang out????
Dylan: Of course when I am with my lil sis!
Maddie: Thanks!
Cole: Are we going to a party?
Maddie: Why?...
Dylan: You dressed up different today.
Maddie: Can't I?
Cole: I didn't mean that. Of course you can but you look different.
Maddie: Today is your birthday ! Of course I would dress up like this!
Cole: Okay cool, let's go!
Maddie: Okay!!!

We got out of our house and climbed in the car.

Dylan: Where would you like to go?
Maddie: Umm... Mall?
Dylan: Okay.

And he drove us to the mall...
