*Ross' POV*
It's been a week since I've seen her brown eyes. It's been a week since I've seen her smile. I mmiss her so much. The doctors give up tomorrow, but I haven't given up on her; not yet. I believe in her. For the past week I have been so restless. I have the darkest of circles under my eyes and the only light in my eyes is hope shining through, not happiness. I insisted that we start filming for Austin and Ally after Christina's out of the hospital. I stayed at the hospital day and night, waiting for her to wake up.
What if she never wakes up?
I shake my head, clearing the thought from my head. 'No she can make it. Think positive Ross.' I jump suddenly, as someone opens the door and tears me from my thoughts. "Any luck?" Daniel asks me. "Nothing yet," I reply, "she'll make it though." I see the hope in Daniel's eyes fading slowly. "Why don't you go home, Ross. I'll stay the night." He says already taking me out of my seat. "What if she wakes up when I'm gone? I can't just leave her!" I protest. "Go Ross." He insists. "But-" "Butts are for sitting, and yours had done more than enough in the past week." He pushes me out the door.
I sigh and then realize: I was just kicked out of a hospital. Wow. I do the only thing I can do. I walk home.
On my way home, I can't help but think of Christina. I want her so badly. I'm so deep in thought that I barely notice that I'm being followed by a group of girls about my age. "Hey cutie, what's your name?" One asks me. I turn my head to see a blonde and two brunettes. I walk faster, hoping that one breaks a heel and stop following me. "What's the matter hottie? Don't want to stop staring at us?" I hear another one say. At this point I break into a sprint and get as far away from them as possible.
I finally get to my block. I make sure that those creepers weren't following me as I walk up to my house. I take one step through the door as I fall to the floor exhausted. I quickly find myself fast asleep.
*Christina's POV*
I'm still surrounded in darkness. I feel so alone when I feel a hand touch mine. I look around but see no one. I begin to wonder when I hear a voice. "Christina, I know you're there. I need you to wake up now, okay? Please. I don't want to lose you too." I recognize that voice immediately; Daniel. I feel a sudden warmth on my cheek and know that it's a tear. I want to squeeze my brother's hand and tell him that everything'll be okay, that I'm always gonna be here and he won't be alone.
I close my eyes for a few seconds and when I open them again, I'm greeted by bright lights. I smile to myself happily. I see my brother staring back at me wth shock in his eyes. "Ch-Christina?" He chokes out. "Hey big bro, good to see you didn't lock me in here." I say to him weakly. I see tears brimming his waterline and I groan. "I just wake up and you're gonna cry me a river BEFORE you give me a hug?" He chuckles and gives me a big hug. I hug him back smiling. The door opens and a familiar head walks through, "Daniel I'm ba-" I see his mouth drop into an 'o' as he sees I'm awake. "CHRISTINA!!!" Ross runs at me and gives me the biggest hug in the world seconds after Daniel pulls away and walks to the door. Before he steps out he says loud enough for the wholle hospital to hear, "CUT DOWN ON THE PDA!" He winks at us and closes the door. I turn my head and Ross immediately kisses me. I smile into the kiss as his soft warm lips meet my cold chapped ones. We break the kiss and rest our forheads onto each other's. We stay silent for a while, just enjoying each other's presence and looking into each other's eyes.
Ross breaks then breaks the silence.
"I knew you'd come back to me."
