Don't Cross The Princess

Y/n's pov.

After the discussion on the café opening soon and the what not we were handing out flyers that we got earlier today when we left, me and Kokona were talking about the people we like and how perfect they are after encountering that kid with the anime reference. She was talking about Saki's smile and how it brought her so much relief and happiness "...It's just so hard to be mad or sad. It's hard to be anything other then happy and relax when she smiles, I just ugh" she was smiling; I knew that she was thinking about Saki and that is what's putting joy on her face, I'm glad Kokona found someone she loves so genuinely. Amai passed by waving as the bell rang dismissing everyone, me and Kokona kept talking when leaving the second floor "What about you though, you don't talk about Saikou alot is it that you're shy" I blushed at her calling me out which wasn't fully correct, I shook my head "N-no it's kinda h-hard to actually talk about" she asked if I was shy again but my answer was the same no "Well... It's more so I'll do more daydreaming then talking about her" she nodded understandingly, we were barely at the lockers when I smelt smoke. Odd we weren't anywhere near the incinerator. A few people ran past me and the smoke alarm went off, I looked around and saw Oka struggling to stand up while hanging onto the fire alarm "are you okay!" I ran over to her as Kokona shoved the food box in her bag, Oka shook her head and pointed to the door "L e a v e please, demon. She has. A. D e m o n" I looked at her side to see it cut, her skin was scrapped off like someone tried stabbing her and missed. I lifted her up and asked Kokona to get her legs, we immediately but carefully ran out of the building due to Oka 's hurt state out of the school where everyone was going.

Everyone was out pointing up, murmuring, screaming, running around. The situation was so chaotic, everyone was frantically doing things that I couldn't think correctly. I looked up after laying Oka down near the gates close to the sidewalk, then I turned to see what she meant. Why everyone was scared and confused. A girl with the school uniform covered in blood. With a mask hiding her face. Floating. And launching Fire.

I looked at where the girl was aiming the fire, the student council office. The members were getting out by climbing and jumping out the window, I didn't see Megami. She was probably helping them get out of there, but if they're escaping through the window then the doors blocked some how. And if the doors block that means... I looked at the girl.

' This was not a massacre style attack, this is a single target on the school and students. '

I moved forward running back to the building with teachers and students calling after me to stop and come back, I raced through the school looking for the office. Everywhere I saw smoke coming through the window, the fire hasn't gotten inside yet, then what's blocking the door was it locked from the outside. No, it only locks from inside. But then I saw it. A chair placed their perfectly to insure no one will move it Incase of panic. I kicked it away and pulled the door open, what ever the council tried to do to leave and get the door open caused this, the door flew off it's hinges with a pop and hit the wall across making a very loud sound no doubt heard from outside. I ran in to see Saikou dodging the flames being shot at her and putting them out just as quick with the fire extinguisher "Stand down at once! I know you're the killer Aishi." Half the mask was broken but barely noticeable through the smoke, her eyes were glowing white as if possessed. Did she. Successfully summon a demon. This woman isn't just determine but crazy, what is it that she wants! Saikou was stuck in the corner, I didn't know what I was doing but I ran at the killer and pounced on her like how a cat gets it's prey. She swung me around before she tried to burn me, she didn't get skin. Though my shirt and bra wasn't so lucky, after she tried to burn me she threw me at the wall. Megami saw me hit the ground and immediately flipped a table at the girl who was hit by it pushing her away. The student council president ran over and picked me up, dropping the extinguisher in the progress "You're okay, I'm here." She got up and ran down the hall, I heard frustrated yelling. I looked around Megami's shoulder to see the killer who's family name is Aishi, shot a fire ball at us "MEGAMI LOOK OU-" I was to late, the fire hit us making her fall and drop me, she tried getting up but another ball was shot and it brought her down while making me move farther. "Y/n!" I started coughing, the smoke was getting into my lungs. The girl floated over, she didn't stop. She passed Megami "Wait is she..." I spoke but I couldn't hear myself, it seems as though Megami had the same thought as she tried to get up "No! Leave Y/n alone!" The girl turned around while taking something out, I heard a gasp and a crazy laugh. "Did you think I was getting you? Haha no you don't like my Senpai, she doesn't either but she's to close with him for me to be worried." More laughter emited from her "Hahaha you'll see her again... At her funeral" my crush got up and ran at the killer, but was blown away from the girl simple raising her hand. She then turned to me and lowered down to my level "NO!" Saikou was crying. I couldn't speak my throat burns, I saw the girl move her arm up. Unsure of what she was going to do, I didn't move.
