So for this chapter I decided to rewrite the scene where Clarisse and the other campers dump Percy & Annabeth in the canoe lake at Camp Half-Blood♡

Clarisse and Connor haul us onto their shoulders and my face is tomato red. Annabeth looks unfazed and is laughing, a huge grin on her face. "Don't we get any privacy?" I complain but it seems to fall on deaf ears. Clarisse just rolls her eyes and the horde of campers start to sprint down the hill. I can barely see and I'm shaking. Holy Hades, this is embarrassing. Suddenly I see Annabeth reach out her hand. And without hesitation I take it and lock our fingers together, not ready to ever let go.

Clarisse and company are breathless by the time we reach the lake. I'm exhausted and Annabeth is still grinning at me. Gods she has a beautiful smile. Below us I can feel the campers shifting about and whispering in gleeful voices. I raise my eyebrow in Amnabeth's direction but she just shrugs. Suddenly I feel myself being lowered and I'm more confused than ever. I look over at Annabeth and realise that she's just figured out what they're about to do. She opens her mouth to warn me but it's too late. Suddenly we're hurled into the air and about to plummet into the water below.

I feel Annabeth tense beside me and I smirk. We plummet into the water. You see our friends have forgotten in their moment of triumph that my Dad is Poseidon; god of the sea. I rack my brains and come up with an idea. I have to act quick though because I can see that Annabeth is struggling. We need air. I need air. Create air. I chant over and over, Annabeth watching me with a confused look on her face. I give her a look at says; Trust me. She nods and suddenly I feel a twisting in my gut. A bright bubble of air appears in fromt of us and I tug her in, a smug grin on my face. "Not bad Seaweed Brain, not bad at all." I grin and pull her closer. She shakes her head. "You're not having it that easy, if you want me you'll have to catch me." I'm about to complain when she twists away from my grip and darts off. The air bubble expands and I know that catching her is going to be impossible. But still, I thought asking her out would be hard and I managed that. Well, sort of. So before she can escape I dart after her.

It has been 10 minutes now and I still can't catch Annabeth. Every time I manage to loop an arm around her, she puts on her cap and disappears. I'm exhausted, not with effort but with the fact that I just need her. "Wise Girl!" I yell and she materialises in front of me. "You done, Seaweed Brain?" she asks, her eyes alight with triumph. I swear to Zeus that I actual feel a pain in my chest when I'm forced to tell her that she's won. Rolling my eyes I admit it. And then sulk a little bit. I hate losing, especially to Annabeth. "What's wrong Percy?" I look at her and see that she's still laughing at me. And for some reason I just can't stay mad. "Will this make you feel better?" she asks grinning. She loops her hands around my neck, her hands raking through my hair. I pull her close and then we're kissing. My bones are melting as I hold onto her, the little control I had at first beginning to fade. I know that I'll never get enough of this. Of the way we fit and the way she makes me earn her love. When we have to break for air she smiles at me and I gently kiss her forehead. "Shouldn't we head back up now?" she asks motioning to the surface. I shake my head. "When you're the son of Poseidon you don't have to hurry."
