Chapter 3: Tyler's POV / Thea's POV

Her smile had made my day again. Her beautiful smile was my weakness. I promised myself i would try and talk to her again, but when i got to school my confidence levels plummeted. I did talk to someone close to her though, Kendra. She found me roaming the halls after lunch during my free period.

"Hey, Eliot!" She called down the hallway.

"Luckily for you Thea is as oblivious as a rock because you havent been smooth about pining after her all these years. I also know you're the one leaving her notes."

"How do you know?" I stupidly asked.

"Because I'm not an idiot." She rolled her eyes, and took a step closer to me.

"Kai is a jackass and I know you associate yourself with him so if you're going to play some sick joke on her I will kick both of your asses."

Offended, I pulled back my head. "I would never do something like that to her."

"Good. Thea deserves some good in her life."

She walked away after that comment, leaving me there determined to get closer to Thea Raia.

I found Thea's number. It took asking multiple people, but i did it. I had a plan too. Ask for help in Forensic Science even though I was acing that class.

I wasn't going to miss my chance to get to know Thea.

FACT #3

I can't get you off my mind.

Seriously, your name is constantly running through my mind. I would ask you to stop being so goddamn intriguing, but i quite enjoy thinking about you.

P.S

You look beautiful today. You always do.

Just like the last two notes this note left a blush on my cheeks and a grin on my face.

"What did your secret admirer say this time?" My best friend Kendra asks. I hand her the note when my phone buzzes in my back pocket.

Hey it's Tyler Eliot I was wondering if you would help me in forensic science. It's fine if you're too busy.

"Kenny." I say getting my best friend's attention. "I don't need a ride home, I'm staying late."

Instead of texting Tyler back I go find him. He has the locker across from mine. I saw him there with Kai yesterday.

Like I guessed Tyler is there, without Kai.

"Hey, Tyler."

His curly brown hair pops out of his locker. "Yeah?" He asks looking at me.

"I'll tutor you, but will you please do me a favor."

"Sure, anything."

"I need a ride home after, if that's okay."

"That's no problem, but I have football after school you can stay during practice then we can study there. Unless you have other plans."

" Nope that sounds good, see you then. Thank you again for driving me home after."
