New Friends (NaLu Fanfic)

1. The Prologue

It was April 13, the last day of school. The day was just a hang out with friends kinda day. Lucy had just gotten home from school. Her mom was siting at the dinning room table waiting for her to get home. Lucy goes and sets her stuff down in her room then comes back out to her mom "Hey mom." Her mom gestured for her to sit down. Lucy's face was puzzled.
"Lucy, I have been thinking. I think you should go and spend some time with your father."
Lucy's face goes for puzzled to confusion. "But why mom." Lucy's mom began with "You haven't see your father in almost a year."
Lucy's mom got up from the table and walked over to the China case and said "Also he called me today and asked if you and him could spend some time together."
Lucy was about to protest then her mom chimed "In the divorce papers you have to see your father. So there's no getting out of this."
Lucy was frustrated with this fact. "When do I have to go?" she asked irritatedly.
Lucy's mom turned toward Lucy "You leave tomorrow. The flight leaves at 4:30 p.m. I'd get ready if I wore you."
Lucy then protested "That doesn't even give me time to say good-bye to my friends." Lucy was upset. Then walked off to her room and stayed in there the entire night.
