The Midnight Sky

Maybe it's just me,
But when I look up into the sky,
I don't just see an empty void of blue.

I see little dots twinkle, and glow
Against the ever so thin clouds.
And a silver lining resting upon the moon's delicate touch.

For the young night whispers in my ear,
Egging me on to keep believing,
In silly dreams only children think of.
