Shining brighter than any star in the sky,
And closer to Earth than most,
A full moon surfaces above the grainy clouds,
Lighting up its surroundings.
He stands there tall with pride,
Confidence exuding from him.
Only the slight flicker of his eyes,
Reminds those of his wholesome being.
And as his reflection strides amongst the ground,
A pond beneath him shimmers in his presence.
Casting a bright silver light,
It invites him to dance in its murky water.
